Default Region question

I just have a question about regions. I bought my Wii in australia, but I'm from Sweden(Europe if you didnt know :P) ,and I wonder if the games i buy in Sweden will play on my Wii. Is it the same region?

Should be since we get the same games on VC in both Aus and Swe. Think so at least, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Well, Australia didn't get the Turbografx games till some months after the system's launch, unlike Europe.

Well, from that point we're getting the same ones. I think we got the same ones now, haven't seen a list or anything so I don't know.

I know with Gamecube, Europe and Australia were in the same region but I'm not sure about Wii, I would think it's the same, it usually is. It has nothing to do with being PAL, that's just a coincidence.

True, but Australian players could set their Wii's region to EU and download the games anyway.
