Hard to believe but I have never played this game until last night! So I just wanted to kill a little time a play for a short period. I got past the first village with the chainsaw dude then on to the next little town. At this point I had to stop playing b/c I was leaving the house for a few hours.
I guess my question is: when/where is the first save point? It is not like I got thru a ton of levels or anything but it sucks that I have to start over now. By the way this game kicks ass...Can't believe I never had the chance to play it!

As far as I remember the first save point is in a farm on the first path out of the main village area, and this is where you would be going next. When you enter this area through a door, to the left is a very small shack with a typewriter for saving in it.

Thought that the Save Points were pretty frequent in this game, actually quite well placed. They're normally around were there's no enemies, and if you find the shop guy you can count on that there's a typewriter in the same room.

It's a good game though the Wii Version is far by the better option due to more game options, weapons, improved controls etc.

hate to say it man but you missed about 2-3 save points if you ended up at the farm...
Its not too hard to replay the first bit really quickly tho, now that you know where to go/what to do.

Three months. Anyway, what if Inactive Guy has this thread sending him e-mails so he can come get more hints about the game without having to participate in the forum?

Then we can spam his inbox! Also, by now he would be long past that point. Now, spam away.
