Default A Question About Wii-Zapper Games

Like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, or Ghost Squad. Will they be coming with the zapper or will you have to buy it separately from the games. I've been curious, thanks!

Seperate because a big box the size of a videogame console for a game with the peripheral would be unnatractive and costly.

I heard, the Zapper comes with Umbrella Chronicles.

But with the latest announcement, that the new game Link's Crossbow Training (coming November 2007) is bundled with the Wii Zapper, I'm not sure if Resident Evil will have the same luxury.

It would be cool, if every Zapper game was bundled with a Zapper. I would buy them all.

I'm going to buy Link's Crossbow Training and RE:UC.
If Ghosts Squad is for 3 (to 4) players and has an extra Zapper, I would buy it too. Shootout with 3 cool games and 3 Zappers and 3 friends! That must be fun!

What I don't get about the Zapper is that it is "compatible" with certain games (RE: UC, Ghost Squad etc), but I though it was just a hunk of plastic that basically held your remote in place... Lately I've heard of a trigger button on the bottom of the Zapper, which now tells me that it will have motion sensing of some sort built in.

That is basically what it is. A shell that holds the Nunchuck and Wii Remote. I'm pretty sure I read on IGN that you can play the Zapper games without the Zapper Shell.

I'm not that excited over these games. Don't get me wrong, I love shooting games in the arcade such as Time Crisis, House of the Dead, ex.; but from what I read about the zapper is that you shoot from the hip style because you will not be able to hold it like a pistol and look down a site. I always liked aiming light guns not pointing them. I don't know....maybe I'll fall in love with this style.
