Default PSP Player for PS3?

I've herd Sony are making a PSP Player for PS3 like the Gameboy Player For GameCube.

Is this true or is it a mith?

I think its just a myth. If anything they will do reverse remote play. So that you can play PSP games over a close network on a larger screen.

But that will make the games look kind of crappy on HD tvs.

You don't need a PS3, you just need a component cable to play PSP games on the TV. I use it every once in a while, especially with Wipeout Pure. I have heard it makes them look pretty crappy, though, and it doesn't take up the whole screen. I use have a pretty small TV, so the games look fine, though it is annoying seeing them in a rather small box.

Wouldn't the games look less detailed on the big screen and blurry?

So why get it? I'm pretty sure it would be better if they let you control a PSP game with the six axis, making some games that are good but horrific controls without dual analog great games like they deserve to be (typing run on sentences tires me out ).
