Default Pretty blue glowing light ...

I love it when my Wii glows blue. I was disappointed when I first got the console and found it only glows when there's a new message!

So what do you think? Should it glow constantly and pulsate when there's a message, or is it fine as it is - off most of the time?

I find it more distracting than anything else, so I turned it completely off. I'm sure it came on not only when receiving a message.

It glows for a short time when it loads a game too. And yes, I think it looks sexy But, I noticed that the Wii gets pretty hot when it's on for a while. I once got a message in the middle of the night, and only saw it that afternoon, and my Wii got hotter than ever. So I think it would be a bad thing if it was on all the time like that.

I like it as it is, where it glows only if there is a message. That way it's kind of exciting when it glows since it doesn't happen all the time, you rush to turn it on to see what's there.

I normally have the Wii downstairs but the other night I had it set up in the bedroom.

The wife nudged me at 1am to tell me there was a bright blue flashing light that had awoken her! Gee thanks Nintendo, I was having a nice sleep until then! lol

Yeah, even on "Dim" it lights up my entire room, blue lights are pretty though so I have nothing against it.

If you can't get enough of it, just mail your Wii yourself
