PSP online

My brother has a psp and usb cable, but knows very little of how to browse the web or download anything to it. Anyone who has or had a PSP that can help, please do so he would appreciate it.

Yeah, you're going to need access to a wireless network and its setup details for the online stuff.
The usb wire is used mostly for copying files between a pc and the psp.

1. I went to the current gen, but found no psp section. Would ps3 have been my best bet?

Right.

First off you need a WI-FI router. I have no idea what you mean when you say you have a Nintendo router, because Ninty don't make routers.

So all I can think of, is that you have a WI-FI USB adapter.

There's a switch on the left side of the PSP, flip it up. Then on th emenu, go all the way to the right and hit the web browser. Then you'll need to enter in all of your routers security details.

Downloading, I've never downloaded anything because it can brick your PSP. Some sites are designed for PSP downloading, but I don't want to risk it.

But pictures and the like, open the picture up so that it's the only picture on the screen, then hit "Triangle" and goto the "File" which is all the way to the left. There'll be a "save image" link.

Anything else, just ask

Yeah it's the usb connection, I always thought it was a router. I found this section too all I needed to do was scroll down. Kinda feel dumb now.
