Arrow psp 2000 vs 3000

i m planning to buy a psp which psp should i buy,the 2000 or 3000
Or is psp not worth buying,i have not really played sony games, there was only one sony game i ever played and it was on ps1,that too in my cousin's place, for 2 hours maybe ,while i have played nes and actually owned it,i played mario games in it a lot,i m still a fan of mario.I own game boy advance sp,the wii,the ds lite too,i also played a lot with my friend's game boy color,i used to borrow his gbc and only give him after 1 month. So would it be right for a person who has only played nintendo games to buy a sony product.Or is 2000 not available now.just suggest me if i should buy a psp and if yes then which model.
I saw the videos of loco roco and i liked it very much,i would get locoroco first if i get a psp

Get whichever is cheaper or whichever you can get a better deal on. The 2000 and 3000 are virtually the same.

You also realize that you don't just have to play Sony games on it, right? Of course, many of the great PSP games are Sony games, but there are a lot of other games on PSP that you should look into that are made by other companies. Some examples are Mega Man Maverick Hunter X, Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles, and the Final Fantasy remakes just to name a few.

Whatever you do, buy it new. I had to return my used PSP for another used PSP that I then had to return for a third used PSP, which has (so far) not yet crapped out on me, after I told the guys at my favorite store my tale of woe and asked them to find me a non-****ty system. I wish I'd just spent the extra $40, or whatever it was.

I don't know about the PSP 3000, but my PSP 2000 is not region protected; I am currently playing a Japanese game on it.

The games are region-free. You can play games from any region on your PSP. UMD movies may be an exception, but I'm not even sure about that. Another kinda-sorta exception is downloadable games from PSN. You need to have a European account to download a European game, for example, but you can easily rig something like that up (a few people around here have multiple accounts).

Also, if you are European, be aware that Sony hates you and your filthy money, and wants to make it as hard as possible for you to import games.

Disida Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy Tatics: War of the Lins (i think that how the title goes)

You need (well, should anyways) to broaden your horizons. There's nothing wrong with FF, but you're missing out (on all of the great Capcom games).

Then again, a lot of people get a console for a few games and pick up on the other "greats" later, so whatever I said before could just be...a waste of time. Depends on whether you meant those are the games (on the PSP) that interest you the most or the only games (on the PSP) that you're interested in.

Of course, a good majority of those are Japanese only and shovelware licensed titles, but that's a whole 'nother story.

From my understanding, the screen on the 3000 is better than the 2000, with the only downside is that currently the 3000 can't be modded.

I have a 1000 and it's fine, although load times are longer and there's no TV output.

I gotta say that the PSP is a sweet piece of hardware, but the games tend to disappoint.

You might enjoy Patapon. LittleBigPlanet isn't out for PSP yet, but that's one you're guaranteed to love when it does come out. There's a PSP version of Parappa the Rapper that you might like, and I think it's usually pretty cheap.

Please let me introduce you to mey friend, Mr. Period.

Anywho, if you like mini-games, I think you'll like...um...Half-Minute Hero has a bunch of Mini-games I guess. There was that Puzzle collection that was okay.

...you know what, just stick to Jogo's suggestions. You'll probably be better off.
