| Do you like my helmet? | Apparently this game might be getting a North American release courtesy of XSEED! It's a remake of the Sega CD version of Lunar: The Silver Star. The sprites have all been redrawn, which is weird to get used to, but they look good. [Link (Joystiq)] |

| I've been eyeing that game. Though it's not high on my priority list. The only Lunar game I played was Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. So is it necessary for me to also play Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar Legend? I personally don't care for the companies that translated it [Working Designs VS. Ubisoft], I just want to know if I should just skip those two and just wait for this game. |

| Do you like my helmet? | The Silver Star is a bit different, but IMO if you've already played SSSC then you don't really need to play the others. Not that it's a whole lot better than the others... just that the games are all pretty similar, so unless you're a gigantic Lunar fan, you're set with one of them. |

| Good! I might try to play those games when it's a slow gaming season for me. Especially since I really want to play Eternal Blue one of these days. |

| If this was directed toward me, I have played a little bit of it. I only seen how battles are like and unfortunately, you cannot control what monsters you would like to attack. There is also where you can have conversations between the characters in the overworld that reminds me of the Tales series. If pdRydia is online, she is the best person to ask since she lend me her game. |

Blog Entries: 14 | Randomly, although it seems like they intentionally attack monsters in such a way as to leave each monster alive as long as possible, before reluctantly killing off the least-threatening monster when they must kill something. |

| Do you like my helmet? | The demo for this is out on PSN now. It's very short (obviously). You can't save during the demo, but you can save clear data after the demo is complete. The demo promises that doing so will unlock exclusive features in the full retail version of the game! So I completed the demo this afternoon. Well... it's good, because it's Silver Star. But they did change quite a bit about the game (well, compared to the PS1 version anyway... but the Saturn version, on which this is based, is supposed to be the same as the PS1 one). There's a lot of the classic Lunar art, which is good. They changed the voice acting! Nall and Quark are both terrible now. Well, Nall isn't terrible, but he's not as good/cute as he was in past versions of the game. Alas. There's also no world map! Well, barely. It has one of those "click here to go here" maps that have become quite fashionable lately. The music is functional but it doesn't sound as good—compression, maybe? Otherwise, it's basically a port of the PS1/Saturn game, with all of the plot and mechanics changes of that game. Mick, have you tried this? If you liked Chrono Trigger, I think you'd like this one. Great "classic RPG" plot and characters and a nice battle system that involves characters moving around to meet their enemies. Enemies appear on the map and can usually be avoided. |

However, I can't wait until I finally get to it! I played a little of the Sega CD version, and I loved it! I'm gonna miss the overworld stuff, though. I really liked it, even though I did tend to get lost a lot(the towers that you could go heal yourself at made it a little easier, though). It was worth it just for the battles, which were short and fun, and required a good strategy if you wanted to keep them as short as possible(which I always do). I just hope they left all the humor and charm in-tact. I'm actually looking forward to the bad voice acting. The game already kinda reminded me of the poorly dubbed anime I used to watch as a kid, so bad voice acting would just complete the experience.
