| Do you like my helmet? | Hi PSP owners! Since we have a much smaller supply of PSN games that we can play on our beloved portable system, we tend to look forward to those PSOne Classics when they get released. Over the past three weeks, Sony has actually been releasing a couple of these games on the PSN. I created this topic to help us keep track of what games are released and when, so we don't have to ask around and lurk at other forums trying to find out. I'll just post the week's PSOne Classics releases in this thread whenever I can, as a kind of pseudo news feed. If new games get released and you notice I haven't posted them, feel free to do so yourself! Last edited by Jogurt the Yogurt; 16th June 2010 at 03:22 PM. |

| I can't believe we still haven't got any of the Spyro games in Europe, I absolutely adored them when I was younger. Ah well, at least Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil are coming eventually now. |

| So how are these games? Just straight ports or enhancements? And any loading screens? |
| | |
| | #7 |
| Do you like my helmet? | They're straight ports. Not even ports, really—they're direct emulation, complete with the SCEA start-up screen. As far as I know, they have all the loading that the originals had, though they probably load a bit more quickly. |

| Looks like Resident Evil: Director's Cut is being released on May 28! I might buy it just to have it on my PS3, wish it was 6 and not 10 http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/23/re...to-psn-may-28/ |

| I never liked the tank controls in RE, which put me off the series (With that said, I am interested in RE4), so here's hoping the Wii version somewhat betters in the department... |

| Iggy Koopa | I wasn't paying attention to PSN until a few days ago, so now I got a lot to get. I'm definitely gettin' R-Type Delta, as well as King of Fighters '99. I'll probably get R-Types too. I'm just not sure whether or not I should get Rainbow Six. I like to get whole series together, so I'll get the Crash games when CTR comes out(albeit I already have CTR), the Spyros when I have the time, Suikonden when Suikonden 2 comes out(although they are both lowest priority), Wild Arms when Wild Arms 2 comes out(although I might want to try one of them first), and Wipeout when Wipeout XL comes out(I already have Wipeout 3). | yeah didn't even get that, the 9.99 is a bit too much IMO especially since Im not a big fan of the series if it was 5.99, That would be a different story... Instead downloaded KOF 99, Street Fighter Alpha and Hot Shots Golf 2 Still holding out hope that FF7 will be released sometime soon!! I can play it on my psp at home or anywhere with an internet connection with the disc inside the ps3. (and watch movies off my laptop which is connected wirelessly to the PS3!! check my subtitle thread)

Personally, I'm not getting RE: DC no matter what the price - there are a ton of remakes that I could easily get for a similar price, but with better controls. I'll just get KOF'99, R-Type Delta, and R-Types, and leave my remaining $10 sit in my account until something more worth my while shows up.

Sadly, I'm currently not able to get onto the Sony shop cuz my PSP's LAN switch broke. There's still a few PSOCs already out that I'm interested in though: Crash Bandicoot 1 & 2 (only played Warped!, so I really interested in playing the other Crash games) Crash Team Racing (wanted this game a lot as a kid, but never had the chance to get it) Jumping Flash! Medievil Rayman (PS1 disk broke) R-Type Delta (maybe) Suikoden

Oh, and I hope you get your LAN switch fixed soon, and that it won't cost ya an arm and a leg. Anywho, to anyone who's played RE: DC on the PSP, how are the controls?(and I've never played an RE before, by the way)

Apparently FFVII was ESRB rated. Here's to hoping that it gets released on PSN (and I don't get a reply saying, "Urgghh, FFVII was like, totally overrated, and it wasn't that good. I already heard that 100000000000 times! I just want to get a cheap copy of it too see how good it is IMO).

| Obviously, because there's nowhere to save anything onto a DS/DSLite, and I doubt Nintendo would make something for the older DS's to do so. |

Who knows, if it is cheaper($6-$10 preferably), I might give it a shot(on the spot if it's just a sale), but otherwise screw it - I'll save my money for something better(like Gunbird).

But yeah, I can definitely see FF7 costing $14.99. It would be a quality instant purchase for anyone at $9.99, especially considering SotN is $9.99 as well... but you know Square Enix. Bah. Still, $14.99 is better than the $50 that ratty used disc copies cost...

| Do you like my helmet? | That's almost two per week. That's a pretty respectable rate. Even with all the garbage they're finding to dump on there, there's got to be a decent number of great titles in a batch that large. |
