PSN:

+ Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1)

What can I say... it's my favourite game ever. It's worth owning two black label disc copies, the PSN copy, and the PSP copy... Those GBA/DS spinoffs pale in every way in comparison.

PSP(PSN):

+ Prinny: Can I Really Be a Hero? - I was just thinking to myself the other day that this was the game that Nis needs to put on the Playstation Store, and lo and behold, it's there, and on sale! This is truely a great day.

+ Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!: What Did I Do To Deserve This? - I've been looking forward to this one ever since the Japanese demo came out almost a year ago, and I'm glad I finally got around to getting it, especially since it was on sale.

Suikoden? I've got the case + inserts. I'm not interested in giving it up just yet, but I can get a high quality scan of the inserts if you want to make your own.

If I remember correctly, it's supposed to come in one of those big double cases with the manual in one side and the game in the other. I could be wrong, though...

I'll see if I can find inserts etc. online and whether I can find a double case with only one CD slot. Otherwise I might just order a complete copy on eBay and resell this incomplete copy to mitigate the costs.

PSN:

+ Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light (PSP)
Mediocre NIS RPG, only $4.99...

+Gran Turismo (PSP)

Disappointing so far. Nothing wrong with the gameplay at all, but you start with lots of money and every track unlocked and theres none of the incentive to play that the other GTs had. Looks like I'll have to wait for GT5.

Yeah, I'm glad I decided to read a review for that game first, otherwise I would've gone out and bought it right away. Yeah, I'll just stick with GT4, and possibly Forza 3/NFS: Shift, for my semi-realistic racing needs.

It wasn't as impressive as the GBA version.

That's kinda what happens when you rerelease a GBA game and ask for 40 bucks for it...

Luckily, the price has gone down significantly these days, so now I might actually consider picking it up.

I knew there wouldn't be the usual career mode, I was fine with it being a lighter game more suited to a handheld, but I would've liked to unlock all the tracks slowly rather them all being there from the start and nothing to aim for. It's a shame because the gameplay is perfect, the graphics are impressive, but the balance is wrong. But I'm being negative, I missed out on GT3 and 4 and I don't regret buying this on the whole.

Eh, at least it'll hold you off until GT5 comes out. Too bad I'll never get to play it, but I still need to finish GT4, anyways.

Mine's just a single case, thin manual acting as the cover art on the front as per the usual with PSX games, and the CD opposite (+ back/spine insert).

Maybe I had an earlier printing or something. Mine was like this. I've seen other games with a fat single-disc case like that get a normal-case edition later, too.

Pretty great game so far. Reminds me a lot of MediEvel crossed with Shinobi PS2. I can't wait to play some more of it.
