Very minor update completed.

Expect a good PSN update when I pick up my PS3 from home in a couple weeks.

I'm just early in. So far it's pretty subpar, but it looks like there could be a good character customization system. You wouldn't like it because there's a long/slow story intro with longness and slowness that doesn't seem to be necessary other than to be long and slow. I picked it up because it was one of three Shining games I was still missing.

Hm, Thanks for the info. I'll have to check out this customization system for myself. One thing Final Fantasy 5 has taught me about long intros: Lotsa time to make sammiches!

Well, it's kind of lame, because it starts your character in this house, you do a story scene, then it does a "x months later" and you're in the house again and you wander around and talk to people. Then it fades, does a "days later" thing, and then you're back in the same room with the same people around and you have to just walk around and walk to them again! WTF?

As far as customization goes, you have the usual set of stats, and when you level up you gain a number of points that you can either hang onto / save up, or else you can attribute them to your stats as you see fit. You also have a page worth of special skills, and when you level up or win battles you get skill points. You can use those points to power up your skills or gain new ones. That part seems pretty cool, kind of like choosing how to power up your character(s) in God of War or Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Nuts, an interactive intro. Still, that customization does sound cool. I'm glad you're (kinda) liking it. I forget what its price was at GS, but if it's cheap, I might pick it up myself.

Argh, sorry, I forgot about you lucky Euros who still get treated to real product. I'll fix that in the next update.

Let me know how you like WAXF when you get a chance to play it.

Great purchase and price! Fallout 3 is one of my favourite games, so I hope you enjoy it. The PS3 version's getting the DLC soon too, so this is as good a time as any to get it.

I can't play it yet, but it'll be one of the games I take home and show my dad why the PS3 is awesome when we get it set up.

I'm halfway through the first chapter now, I'm really liking it so far. Quite a lot more customisation options for the main characters than I was was expecting and there are different win conditions for the different maps. It's also quite easy to fail some of them if you don't pay attention, so I'm guessing its going provide a lot of challenge later.
I uploaded a video incase you wanted to see more of what its like at the start of the game

Gamespot for $9! Pretty fun game, but it makes me want to play KoF, Garou and Last Blade.

What's that? Is it just a collection of fighting games?

No, more of wacky-ish tag-team fighting game with characters from a bunch of different Neo Geo games, as well as some new characters who make random references to other Neo Geo games. Basicly SNK's answer to Capcom Fighting Evolution, except a little less suckish.

Exactly. It's no Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, but it's pretty good. It's worth playing it just to see the Metal Slug guy fight.
