Default Favorite Sony Franchises

Title says it all(I think). Just list your favorite 1st and second party franchises across all platforms.

For me:
  • Ratchet & Clank series
  • Jak & Daxter
  • Sly Cooper
  • Wipeout
  • Syphon Filter
  • Team ICO's games
  • Lemmings

Since when was Lemmings a Sony franchise? Also, I agree with the ICO stuff.

Yep, I double checked it. Lemmings is now a Sony-owned franchise.

So they bought the franchise and just sit on it now with an occasional remake?

Pretty much. Then again, I don't think any Lemmings sequels or spin-offs went over very well.

They "inherited" Lemmings when they bought Psygnosis and folded it into Sony Computer Entertainment.

Ratchet and Jak w000.

Wish they continued with Kinetica, such great opportunities with that game. First game to use the so called 'Kinetica' engine

Well one intreasting thing is that the remakes been devolope by a third party developer knowen as Team17 who in the past worked on some of the ports out there .

Oh No! More Lemmings was good, and lots of people liked Lemmings 2: The Tribes, although I didn't like it because you has to keep on learning how to use new abilities after every level set. I wish they just stuck to the same tried-and-tested abilities.

Anyway.

Lemmings
WipEout
Ratchet and Clank
Jak and Daxter
Ape Escape
Crash and Spyro (when they were owned by Sony)

I think that's about it. Only own a PSP as far as Sony consoles go, so I can't say I've played a lot of Sony franchises.
