Square Enix released yet more tantalising teasers today with some Final Fantasy XIII screen shots! Of course being shots of FMV’s (full motion videos) they aren’t an indication of the game-play but then again who plays Final Fantasy without loving the awesome videos?

Hmm maybe the Matrix is more fitting, I've only played 6 and 8 out of the 6-12 so I can't speak for the others, but 6 is more like Final Fantasy: Hogwarts, and 8 is like, uh I dunno but not Star Wars.

This game is on the 360, too.

One slow mo shot and a futuristic setting are enough to get everyone thinking this is Final Fantasy Matrix, eh. That's like saying is Resident Evil 5 raci... Oh wait a second.

I keep hearing it's only coming out o 360, and not Ps3.

Although it's cool how through time, you can see the Final Fantasy civilizations technology improve, I don't like how they're basing it like it's in the future, and there's guns and everything. I think Xll perfectly fitted the new technology with the ld school element. This game looks like it's trying to be too "fresh" and "hip"

I have had the video on my ps3 for a couple weeks now, it looks awesome! I saw a couple battle scenes as well!
It does look different, but I haven't played since FFX

It doesn't matter if it is on the 360, the thing melts and, at one time, had a 70% failure rate ...

Seriously though, the thing that has completely turned me off from FF7-12 was the art direction, and this doesn't look any better. Of course the quality of the graphics is just as great has we all expected.

Would be nice if they actually had some high-quality pictures that wasn't all ruined by the .jpeg format. There probably are on Google, but that would be off-topic

As I hated FFXII I really hope that this will be a good one, the setting seems a lot better than the eternal desert present in XII.

Final Fantasy 6 is steam punk

, steam punk is awsome!

13 is totally matrix. Final SciFi would be a more acurate title if you ask me.

Final Fantasy VI doesn't have a magicky school, which is what Hogwarts is.
