I could have sworn there was a thread for this already but when I searched I couldn't find one so.....here we are!

This thread is for posting what your name is on Steam so we can all add each other on our friends lists. (and you could always request you don't want anyone to add you if you want to be anti-social) My Steam ID profile page is here: Steam Community :: ID :: :dp: Tides of Chaos

Ok, here's mine:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/joxe_7

I don't spend that much time on Steam nowadays since I usually play World of Warcraft but I occasionally spend time in Garry's Mod and Team Fortress 2. My Steam site also looks rather empty since I haven't really understood the meaning of these group thingys.

It's like a music/rhythm game where ur a space ship(like the F-Zero ones) and u try to match blocks in a cluster of 3 or more. It's oddly addicting.

It's also important to note that you can play any song you have on your computer, it's not limited to just a few songs it comes with or anything.

Capndrake.

I bought a whole bunch of single player games (Behold: http://steamcommunity.com/id/capndrake/games) during the holiday sale so I'm playing those at the moment, but when I'm done you can catch me on TF2 and L4D quite often.

Did you buy the id Super Pack too, Drake? I did during the sale and am having endless fun with it. I should probably also buy Aquaria and the X-Com pack while it's 5 dollars.

Hey Spore i bought X-com. Thats a fantastic game, incredible even.

I only liked the first one though. Kinda funny little off-topic story so read it at your own risk.

I was just getting back into gaming after a break in my late teens and early 20's. I have always been a Nintendo fanboy but i could not resist the PS1. So i went out to the local gaming store with a set amount of money and got the PS1. I had about $20-30 left over. I really wanted Resident Evil but it was $50. After looking around for a cheaper game i spotted X-Com UFO Defense. It looked good and i spent the next 1-2 months strait playing it, all the time i forgot about that Resident Evil game lol.

A few months later i spotted in a bargin bin X-Com 2 Terror from the Deep for the PC. Well i had never had a PC. Well i bought the game anyways lol. A few months later i had my PC.

Its funny PS1 and my lack of money to get the game i wanted guided me into PC gaming. If i had the $50 for RE i may not be a PC gamer now, or at least i would have started much later.

Sorry for the long, and possibly pointless, story. I just find it kinda funny.

PS: X-Com RULES! I still play it to this day.

Nice bump. Also, to anybody perusing the Steam Store, buy Zeno Clash. It's 15 dollars if you buy it before it comes out in 3 days.

Also, has anyone tried the Retrograde demo yet? Pretty fun game, but it sure is hard.

No, no, no! They added another weapon that stops you in your tracks. Stop doin' that Valve. ): I have to give them credit though, a bow and arrow is kinda awesome...

Bows and Arrows are indeed very cool, but I really couldn't care less about that update. I hate snipers.

So Valve is still pumping out news about the Sniper update.
http://www.teamfortress.com/sniperup...02_english.htm

Press the arrows on the top right corner to navigate through the days. Anyway, looks like we finally get that Double Payload map that was supposed to be around for the Scout update. Also, two new Arena maps. I don't care much for Arena though. Also shown was a new "weapon" for the Sniper. Personally, I think it is completely useless looking. It seems to just be a "get out of backstab free" card. Ehhh...

Default D.i.p.r.i.p.

Has anyone heard of this steam mod called D.I.P.R.I.P warm up. It's a vehicle combat game using guns and rockets. It's alot of fun and is free. It can be downloaded on the "tool" section of steam.(I hate to sound like an advertiser, but I just want more people to play the game).

I personally didn't enjoy it at all. Maybe it's just not my kind of genre?

meh the only reason I like it is because I love vehicle combat. Also, it doesnt take that much space compared to the other mods. But, everyone has their own opinion.

I played the demo. Popcap knows how to make an addicting game. Both funny and fun. I will be buying it during the Steam Holiday Sale for sure. Oh, Zeno Clash is 50% off for the next day or so. It's a swell game, and it just got its first free DLC. Buy it if you need something to play.

Mickeymac92, provided my brother didn't change it the last time he played Team Fortress 2. I never go online, though, and I'm tempted to just uninstall Steam, once I get Portal: Still Alive.

You're Steam account name is unchangeable, only your username is. Also, is there really any reason to get Still Alive if you already have the PC one?
