| Para-goomba | I'm running ATI video card but no problems running alien swarm. Sadly it doesn't support twin sticks on controllers yet |

| When's the next TF2 night? I didn't get to go to the 1st two and would love to play some TF2 with all you guys. What was the participation like last time? Were there like 5 of us? 8 of us? 15 of us? |

| I don't think we've ever properly coordinated anything. GH is good with that.

| Lakitu | Last time was a bit of a failure, but as Spore pointed out we didn't really get things very organized, mostly because of time uncertainty. So, let's try again and see if we can do a better job. First, what day/time generally works out best for everyone? I'm GMT +10 and generally free for any time on my weekends (9AM Saturday is 7PM Friday in NA Eastern time). Unfortunately, I think I might be busy next Sunday (August 1st). It'd be great if everyone else could try to anticipate when they will be available in the next few weeks. The other thing that made TF2 tricky was the lack of a designated server. We either need to borrow one that we'd all definitely use or get a list together of a few that we could switch between depending on the player count and such. Since it'd be best to use something based in NA, I'd appreciate it if one of you guys could handle this before we next try. I know we have some people here who might prefer to play something different to TF2 (or might not even have it), so perhaps this time we could consider some other games so they're not bored if everyone else is TF2ing. While not Maccable, Alien Swarm is quite a bit of fun and has the advantage of needing (at most) only four players. A fair few people ended up getting Killing Floor (which again doesn't need a lot of people) and we've always got the lovely Altitude. Remember, the ability to use the in-game interface in non-Steam titles means other (free/multiplatform) games are fine, too, so suggest away! Last edited by MasterGH; 26th July 2010 at 04:43 AM. |

| I live in CST (central time zone) and all day on weekends are generally good and afternoons/evenings are best for weekdays except for Monday & Friday. (although during summer I am technically available during the day too for weekdays). I'm guessing we'll probably settle on Saturday or Sunday mornings to accommodate people not in North America which is fine with me. As for servers, not sure what to do there. I don't know any people personally I could borrow a server from or anything. We may end up having to have the first person on pick an empty server and we all just join them or something. |

| Jumping Piranha Plant | TF2 is fine with me. I'm from NA but still rather new with Steam so would you guys need me to host a server, and if so how would I got about doing that. |

| I got it last year too and played it for about 2 minutes. I wonder, does it have multiplayer yet? Oh, and I probably will have to spring on that Borderlands deal soon. I gotta see if I can get some others interested in the 30 dollar 4 pack.

| Been playing it the whole weekend: Got to Alpha Centauri in 1991 on Chieftain and a Domination in 2020 on warlord Its a good game in the Civ series; a step up from civ rev and one down from 3 (remember 3 best : - ) i like; streamlined, icons tell me what i should check and "next turn" button comes after pushing unit ready/have made city production the non stackable units system and bombard witch makes artillery and planes feel useful policies witch add bonuses does not; less micro managing/tweaking, city'es and cash for entertainment/research and such

| Do you like my helmet? | Damn, so I got And Yet It Moves this week as part of that non-Steam pay what you want deal, and now it's bundled with the indie deal for today. Five games for five bucks. The problem is... the only two games in the bundle (other than AYIM) that I care about are Gish and Recettear, and they're the only non-Mac games in there. I wonder if it's worth the $5 to buy the bundle and just hope they eventually become Maccable... EDIT: Apparently I already have a Maccable non-Steam Gish from a previous sale somewhere, so this would really be all about Recettear eventually being playable on Mac. Alas. | Do you like my helmet? | Since the beginning of the ongoing forum reorganization, we now have a new VC-F logo (it's basically the same as the old logo but without the "Wii" in the background). Whoever is able to administer our little Steam group should whip up a new group picture based on this logo! |

| Do you like my helmet? | That's what I thought, too, but I tried before (when the group was initially created) and I couldn't do anything with it. |

| Lakitu | Hmm, I'm definitely a member of this group, but I don't see myself on post 1. My Steam ID is clayfrd, but my display name is Nixon Corral. I fancy myself a damn fine Spy in TF2, but I'll let you be the judge should you play with me. Add me to that list, there, Tides. Oh, and as I mentioned in the 2011 thread in general, we should really inject some more life into this group. I'd be happy to help organize games if there's enough interest. |

| Updated the first post with a slightly different layout and hopefully all members with Steam...although I'm sure I'm forgetting some. Also, I thought our forums had that edited symbol glitch fixed (when stuff like % is used) and that we had obtained strike-through text earlier in the year as well. Or did I dream that? |

Blog Entries: 14 | Strikethrough can be obtained by using (x) (/x) coding (use square brackets instead of parenthesis. As for the symbol glitch, that's not fixed, but if you go into advanced view in editing, it shouldn't be an issue. |
