I have a 1.2 GHz PPC iBook G4 with 768 MB RAM. What do you think the chances of me being able to run it are? I guess I'll wait till I get my iMac next summer.

Wait! Sorry, I went off topic there.

Do you have Vista or XP? If you have Vista, the game calls for 768 MB RAM, but if you have XP then what you currently have is the recommended minimum.

No one said you had a Mac. If you have XP, then 512 MB RAM should be fine. Don't know about the graphics card. Why ask here when you could check the minimum recommended specs on the official site?

Neither your RAM, processor and probably GPU meet the seperate Mac system requirements. Wait until you get another one at an outrageous price.

Spore requires at least the following:
* Mac OS X 10.5.3 Leopard or higher
* Intel Core Duo Processor
* 1024 MB RAM
* ATI X1600 or NVIDIA 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100
* At least 4 GB of hard drive space, with at least 1 GB additional space for creations.

Yeah, that was a joke actually. Of course my little old beater won't be able to run it. I'll be getting my next one at a pretty darn good price, though, so there's no need to worry (but Spore will be so old by then, I wonder if people will still be playing it... ).
