One Of The Best FPS' Ever Gets Another Sequel!

Anyone who thought i ment halo could not be more wrong. No im talking about one of the most frantic, Crazy and fun shooters ever. The game that features everything from Zombies to mutants and Monkeys to humans. And of course Giant gingerbread men, snowmen and T-Rex's. And all i just mentioned are playable characters. If you havent guessed yet im on about Timesplitters. One of the most fun games i ever played. To me its like Super Smash Bros FPS Style lol. And after we all thought it was over after Future Perfect a 4th game has been announced.

Ive put it in alternative gaming since the consoles its on hasnt been confirmed. But if it does get confirmed for wii which it most likely will then im sure someone can move it there. But personally i cant wait. Timesplitters was one of my favourite games because it was total fun. And i was sad to think that it had ended. Well thank god we are getting at least one more TS game on the next gen consoles . And apparently theres something better than naked women. Huh? What could that be?

You should try and pick up Timesplitters 2 or Timesplitters Future Perfect (TS 3). I havent played one so i cant recommend that. But they are all very fun IMO and all crazy. Plus there is a level editor which includes beginner mode and advanced mode. Beginner is simple and easy to use while Advanced allows for building levels with more than one floor. Plus you can even make your own story missions. The story in TS2 is rather confusing since the character ends up turning into all these different characters and taking on there personalities. In TS3 you meet these characters again but you arent in them and are with them instead but it ended at the end of TS3 so im wondering if this will feature a new story and characters overall.

TimeSplitters 4 is the fourth installment of the TimeSplitters series developed by Free Radical Design.
In June 2007, the Official UK PlayStation Magazine revealed that another installment of the TimeSplitters series was in the works. However, at Kotaku, Rob Yescombe, the scriptwriter for the previous TimeSplitters games, said that the systems they were developing the game for were "unsigned at the moment." Free Radical's David Doak has described Wii development in general as "a good thing to do" and followed that up with "I think we want to put it [TimeSplitters 4] on the Wii", in an interview with Game Informer.
"I'm sure it's possible to do a control scheme that works," Doak added when asked about his thoughts on developing a first-person shooter for Wii.[3]
Steve Ellis reported that "They're gearing up to insert monkeys and guns into all the wrong places." In an interview with David Doak, he alluded to focusing gameplay rather than special effects or graphics.
The logo for the game is currently a spoof of the Gears of War logo with a monkey head replacing the skull. There was also some concept art for a monkey in Master Chief's armour. Because of this, it is expected that there will be more in-game "potshots" of those games as well as other gaming franchises. Yescombe from Free Radical confirmed that prediction.

No official statement has been made about the date of release for the game. However, in the Letters page of Free Radical's official website, sometimes when asked about TimeSplitters 4, they jokingly said to ask again in 2009.
The game has been officially announced as being in development.

As you can see this is old news but still it was kept kinda quiet. Also its funny to hear that there are some odd cameos from other games including a monkey spartan.

I'll be keeping an eye on this so if anything else comes i'll update.

Oh yeah and also i forgot to mention TS Contains lots of monkeys.

What got me hooked on TS is the fact that it's so similar to Goldeneye 007, not to mention Free Radical was founded by ex-Rare members.

Timesplitters 2 is my favourite console FPS ever. I'm really baffled that X-Box owners got so excited by Halo when they had Timesplitters on their system. Fantastic series of games, and I'm pleased as punch that there will be a fourth edition, and on Wii too.

Well theres no guarentee that it will be on wii but im about 99% sure it will be. After all its always come out on all the latest home systems and they have been talking about it.
