Why are you apologizing? Even I've played that game. It's pretty good, though not my cup of tea. I prefer RPGs with more of a japanese flavor to them.

I only played Roller Coaster Tycoon games on the PC, so I would have to go with all 3 iterations of that (including all expansions)

Medieval 2 Total War Gold Edition, one of Sega's best gems till today. Guess they could be better of publishing some more pc strategy games these days .

Not a bad thread, to bump anyway. Also, my list above is still pretty much accurate as far as I can figure.

Not much of a PC gamer, but there are some gems that I love playing, especially the latter two I used to play when I was at school.

FarCry
Duke Nukem 3D
Dangerous Dave (DOS game)

Might consider getting into Fallout 1 and 2 some time.

You know, Dangerous Dave was the star of the first prototype sidescrolling platformer created on a PC when Carmack finally figured out a method of allowing for advanced scrolling graphics on low end PC hardware. This later turned into Commander Keen of course. That led to the explosion of popularity that made id Software (Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein) what it is now. Dave's an important piece of gaming history.
