Default What kind of Mobo/ chipset should I get ?

PS. Read only if interested in Pc hardwarespecs otherwise it will bore you out ! !

Pffff still awake and searching for my next new hardware assembled computer. (glad of my day off tomorrow ! !)As I was mentioning in Stardust' s thread about the 775 socket P45 I also found out that there is an upcomming P55 motherboard with a new socket and upcomming Intel processor called the c i5 (little brother of the c i7) this processor will begin at 2,66ghz quadcore HT and will be slightly better than a 3,0ghz quadcore 2 the market has today.
To be honest with you I haven' t upgraded my own PC yet after all those years and still have a P4 3,0 Ghz HT processor in it, mostly I use my Laptop (a dual core amd processor one) to do the heavy work.
My only concern is the power it will use, does anyone know some details about the processor ? Or if you can find power benchmarks of it, I would be very pleased, thank you !

Unless you use you're going with SLI a 600 watts or more as PSU should be enough. Not in Windows right now so can't be arsed to find a program to check watt usage in Linux

I know that many of the p55 mobos will contain 3 times PCI E 16x slots, but its not that I am going to make full use of them, not in the near future that is. And I am not thinking of overclocking it either.
I think a 450 - 500 W would do also fine wouldn' t it ?
