I don't think it is supposed to even come out this year. Near the end of 2009 at the earliest.

The Starcraft Battlechest is about 20 dollars. Nothing stopping you from getting it.

Hmm... Blizzard traditionally supports Mac pretty well, don't they? Although I am terrible at RTS games and not very interested in SC2, I may pick up the SCB if it is indeed that cheap and compatible with my computer.

I don't mind them. I used to like making tower-defense maps to play with my friends 10 years ago. But I'm really really terrible at them, like super really terrible, so that takes a lot of the fun out for me.

And i never play RTS against humans. I always play coop so we can help the weaker players as they learn.

The TD maps I played were competitive WC2 maps I made myself. Making maps and then playing them with friends was the #1 fun thing about that game.

Now you know how I feel about Mario games

Anyways, I have really gotten into StarCraft lately since I've started watching the matches from Korea, even though I'm a total noob myself it's really fun to watch. Don't want to be an ad but head to gomtv.net since the finals take place rather soon, Live broadcasting is on Sundays

Anybody else here already played a demo of this?
You could play em at GC 08 and 07, but I only had time to play in 2007, when only the Terrans and Protoss were playable. Felt really nice and definitely like it could end up being on par with what I feel is the best PC game ever: The first Starcraft.
just hope my PC will be able to run it...

It's a Blizzard game so they are inevitably going to work very hard to make it run on a huge range of hardware. 'Swhat they do.

Should be about 5 years now, so it's not that old, but probably already too old for most modern games.
