Post Pass Your Driving Test With Atari (NintendoLife)

Pass Your Driving Test With Atari

Atari UK set to publish a new DS "training" game entitled "Driving Theory Training" which will be officially licensed by the DSA.

Available in Summer 08, Driving Theory Training will feature the full driving theory questions and answers officially licensed by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency). In addition to a full theory test based on the real life exam, learners can benefit from revision, graphs, mini games and questions and answers relating to vehicles. The application also features the full Highway-code, ways to learn and revise as well as fun games to entertain whilst stimulating the mind.

Whilst this is quite a surprise to everyone here at NintendoLife towers, it actually makes quite alot of sense. Having passed my test only a few years ago (35/35 FTW) I shelled out over £20 for a DVD set for use on the PC which could of been better spent on another DS title!

Planning on learning to drive? Wait till the summer and we'll let you know how good this turns out!

Okay....

There's like 5317539021759712 'training' games for the DS in Japan and soon to be for the Wii and now Atari is giving us 'Learn to Drive'? Even I think we're going overboard here.

"Driving Theory Training" is different than "Learn to Drive", I don't know the situation out of Italy, but maybe the problem of Italians being so damn uncivilized on the streets is because these 2 concepts get confuse too easily.
You don't want to become like us, pay attention at the difference. Knowing driving theory (or anyway the rules to follow while on the streets) is something that everybody, even children, must know.
I find this is finally a legitimate training game.

But anyway it won't be useful here. People do know the rules to keep while driving ("codice della strada" in Italian, can't find it in English), but they just don't care and act as theirs is the only car around.

You should see the drivers out here in California!!! the average people drive is 80 MPH even with the gas prices nearing 4 dollars here. There is almost no respectful drivers around anymore! BTW I only have gotten one ticket in 14 years of driving (illegal lane change, and it wasnt counted against my driving record) so everybody remember the speed limit IS THE LIMIT (except for I-5 which goes through the middle of the state from oregon to San Diego which I drive at 80 while everyone goes 100, its basically the california autobahn!)
