Default Most balanced fighting game on neo geo?

After reading about how balanced SS2HD is, I was wondering what the most balanced fighting game is/was on the neo geo.

Any fighting game when both you and the enemy are using the same character.

He didn't say it had to be on the VC.

On VC? Samurai Showdown II.

On the neo-geo? Last Blade (granted I haven't played it in years. But if I remember properly, it was very well balanced).

Fatal Fury 2.

But seriously, I would say SamShowdown 2 or Last Blade.

Now way, Samurai Shodown 2 is really unbalanced. Don't get me wrong, it's not broken or anything, but it's not up to par when compared to games like Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Last Blade.

I've barely played the above 2 games, so my opinion doesn't really matter here.

I just bought it because of the fighting game involved swords/weapons in the game.

Any of the KOF games, if you exclude that insufferable K'. He's a cheap *******.

Not really. He's pretty useless in KOF '99-'00, and pretty weak-but-pretty-handy in KOF '01-'02. He rocked the house in KOF '03-XI, but still not quite cheap.

What about that kick thing where he leaps across the stage and makes you explode? I hate fighting him. Gets me every time...

Ah, you're right. It's probably just me.

I have never, ever seen that move. If you mean his Super, then it's just you, because that's pretty easy to block. If you mean his quarter-circle back kick, that is a little tricky, but not that bad.

I'll try and find a video of it, cause I did explain it rather vaguely. It's not his super.
