I think there is one called "Blue's Journey" or something, what other ones are there?

Magician Lord is the best platformer on the Neo Geo and it's one of the three confirmed games to come. So basically, we're already set platformer-wise.

I've heard some people saying that it's pretty action based, still might get it however.

No it isn't I think it has a character that looks a bit like the character on Ballon Fight

I have also heard that blue attacks by picking up a baddie and then throughing them away, sounds a bit like Klonoa!

Ahh I have fond memories of Blues Journey. I still remember the first boss who says "Come on baby!". IIRC Blues Journey was one of the early releases.

Other than Blues Journey and Magican Lord there was Top Hunter, Spin Master and Cyber Lip. In fact Cyberlip reminds me a bit of Metal Slug.

You can find more Neo Geo reviews on Neo-Geo.com. Should give you a better idea of what to expect while we're waiting for the games to be released.
