Total: 15 games and only 1 was released until date.

I want Pulstar.

I hope we see Pulstar and Blazing Star someday on the VC.

The shmup that I really want to see is Twinkle Star Sprites. Easily the most innovative and unique shmup on the Neo Geo, this 2P insanity is crazy awesome. It's a crying shame that this game has been rereleased quite a bit and still no affordable NA version. This is your chance to redeem yourself, SNK!

PS Oh, and the rest of the Metal Slug games. Those are awesome.

It sure is; I was suprised that one of the few SNK collections to get axed for a US release was the ADK collection. Also the Waku Waku collection was taken from us. SNK better make up for their past transgressions and rerelease Twinkle Star Sprites and Waku Waku 7.

I'd have a hard time resisting any Neo Geo shooters. Only Ironclad has hit the Wii so far and I thought it was awesome. Are there ones to avoid if they happen to come???

Maybe it's because Neo Geo games are gorgeous. BTW, why did you like Ironclad? Because it seems like an interesting shmup.

In part because it was gorgeous. It had some somewhat unique weapon setups you could go with, but outside graphics and music, the biggest plus for me was the existence of multiple paths. More levels and more bosses = more fun

Yep. This issue was invented by Taito in Darius series, making the replay of shmup games much more lasting.

You can see the multiple paths on 2:37

Yeah, multiple paths are awesome, but I can't think of many shmups that do that sort of thing. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Radiant Silvergun have multiple paths?

We don't need that. It was on the SNK compilation.

Roughly half of them are pretty damn good. I think it was missing one, though.

I'd buy Last Resort again. Much rather have that than all the other compilation BS they are releasing.

I don't think that'd work for the Neo Geo games, they'd have to redraw a bunch of stuff to do that.
