Did they delete your game too? Or is this now a free games loop hole?

Then again the Nintendo Seal is gimped and not even stamped on VC titles

The game was still on my SD card but I deleted it in the spirit of things. Don't know if I would have been able to play it or not.

Downloaded Contra Rebirth with my restored points. Very nice

Wow, that's unexpected but a positive sign. I've included information about the Sega problem with a corroberating screenshot in my article on the 60hz issue for Nintendolife.

It should be up any day now.

Why you (european Wii owner) don´t sell your european Wii and buy a american Wii to solve this hertz question ?

I live in South America and my Wii is american and works great for every single virtual console title.

Because I would assume it would be a pain in the ass to import all of your games. I think Ouenben has an import Wii though...

Importing physical games can be a bit of a pain, espically when you have to wait a while for them to arrive. Or if you are trying to get a cheap price for games that came out ages ago.

However buying VC/WW stuff is very simple as you can get Wii points off Ebay with the codes emailed. It is also far cheaper then buying PAL Wii points.

I own an American Wii so I should know.

For the simplest reason of all...because we shouldn't have to.

I understand your point, but it´s the most practice solution for this boring problem.

For people with the access and knowledge of how to do it, sure. The problem is that most of us who had that knowledge bought out Wii's before we knew this would be the case.

I also like to be able to walk into a shop and pick up a game instead of having to import it from NA and miss out on local bargains like the MPT I picked up the other day.

I couldn't do that if i owned a NTSC Wii without installing homebrew...and if I was going to do that then I wouldn't need to import a NA Wii.

You guys didn't get the TG16? That sucks. Out of curiosity, do you buy a lot of those games on VC?

Ironclad appears to be made by the same people who gave us Shock Troopers, so maybe that has a chance of a VC rerelease, along with its supposedly inferior sequel.
