| Yeah, I think Midway could make an inroad to VC with their arcade games. I mean, they could do with the money...

| TMNT arcade, Simpsons arcade, original vector Star Wars (good luck), Dragon's Lair and Space Ace (good luck again), Gorf, POPEYE, original DONKEY KONG, Q*Bert, Moon Patrol, Track & Field... I'm thrilled arcade games will be released, but many of the ones I would want I already have on compilations. Arcade Bust A Move would be good... actual arcade ports of SF2. Oh! Burger Time and Super Off Road!!! Last edited by HotelNeptune; 26th March 2009 at 10:05 PM. |

| The Simpsons, TMNT, Guantlet, Captain America and the Avengers, X-Men, Rastan, Double Dragon, Renegade, Spyhunter, Centipede, Defender, Knights of the Round (I'd forgotten about that one until it was mentioned above - good stuff), Golden Axe (which I would still buy even though I downloaded the other one on the Genesis), and part of me wants Smash TV also but am not sure.... A lot of this is licensed and therefore less likely to come timely if at all, but, oh, the possibilities!!!! |

| My only problem with many arcade games is the coin munching design often translates to extreme tedium when sitting in a comfy chair playing on your TV. A typical example: Magician Lord for Neo Geo, its later level are ludicrous, with waves of impossible to avoid enemies only there to block your progress and make you feed more coins into the machine. It makes skill redundant and the game just becomes a tedious slog of endlessly pressing continue. I'd rather see arcade games like Donkey Kong that reward skill and practice.

| Do you like my helmet? | You're right, that is annoying. What's even more annoying is when that style of gameplay is lazily translated to old-school console games because, for decades, developers didn't "get" the idea that you don't need "lives" and "continues" to create challenge for gamers who aren't churning out quarters. |

| I want as many light gun type of games as possible. This is something that the Wii has missed out on IMO. Not enough games where I shoot at the screen then have to reload. Area 51 Aliens The other thing that I would love is the Star Wars Trilogy. |

As for Soul Calibur, the DC version is on the XBLA but probably too big for the Wiis limit.

| No, I actually played the Arcade version in an arcade. God, it was awful. Horrible graphics, slowdown, moved slowly, and the animation was bad. It just wasn't fun. Teh Soul Calibur series is one of my favorite fighting game series, too, if that gives you any indication of the Arcade version's suckiness. |
