Nintendo would have to break its own dumb (in light of the storage solution) rules over the maximum file size for that to happen

Ahem, any CPS I & II game that doesn't suffer from licensing issues can be released on the VC without fear of storage since the biggest of the CPS I & II games are only around 322 megabits.

I'm thinking that all these games will be released on VC eventually.

Yeah. Saturn version is much better, but probably very large to VC support.

As its strongly rumoured to be getting an Xbox live version I wouldn't get my hopes up. I imagine Microsift will have tied up an exclusivity on that one.

Too bad there's no chance in hell of seeing Saturn support on VC, due to the emulation issues. Let's take what we can get here, Ref.

I'd like to see:

Simpsons
Moon Walker
Moon Patrol
Double Dragon
Superman
Asterix
X-Men

and two games I forgot/don't know the names of:

(1) Classic platformer like Mario/Donkey/Sonic where you jump with this winged angel child from level to level?? is that kid icarus? looks different.

(2) Amazing sword fighting game where the characters are huge. I have no idea how it's called but it was the holy grail for me in hotels.

Kid Icarus didn't have an arcade version. As for the sword fighting game, I'm guessing it's either Soul Edge, Crossed Swords, Samurai Shodown, or Last Blade. I know that not all the characters had swords in those games eccept for maybe Crossed Swords, but those were the only ones I could think of for now.

Thanks ! I checked those up, and they do look familiar and nice, but it's not what I'm thinking... my memory may be failing, but the game had 2 huge KNIGHTS battling. it wasn't a battle in the style of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. It was sort of a strategy game (I guess like Punch Out) where you need to choose where to strike the sword on the other player.

I highly doubt it due to the file size and other issues. If it was released via retail then maybe.

It could work. Wasn't Marble Madness a trackball game and it was put on some collection last generation? I think simple control stick conversion was what was used.

But then how many people are going to buy a trackball controller just to play a bunch of retro games? Retro nuts, yes, but not many outside of that.

Perhaps if they did a Classic Arcade Stick with trackball and joystick controls, but I doubt it very.

No problem about this. Sega Sonic The Hedgehog mechanics remember Sonic 3D Blast... then just to adapt the trackball for a d-pad or an analog stick.

Gun Force 2. It's made by the same folks who made Metal Slug, except it's diff...actually, it's quite similar. I'd like that on VC...Oh, and In The Hunt.

I'd expect an XBLA release first. I mean, it is called Xbox Live Arcade. It'd probably end up on PSN at the same time or a few months later too. Nintendo hasn't really been supporting VC, and all of the VCA arcade titles so far have been of old games, so I can't imagine this showing up there. Although I wouldn't mind if it did.

Yeah. For me, the XBLA is currently a interesting service and are adding an very attractive shmups collection whose new addition is announced as being the mythical (and very expensive on ebay) Radiant Silvergun. Finally, I want a Xbox 360.

The 'arcade' titles seem really lacking to me (in the UK anyway, not sure if there's more in the US)

The only one I've bought it 'Star Force' which I really love..

... what I'd really like is 'Gorf'
