| My God! I've just spent over an hour finishing Magician Lord on EASY! What started off as a Teatime break ended in a full session. The difficulty on this game is ridiculous and so cynically geared to coin munching. towards the last level you are just hit by wave after wave of impossible to avoid valkeries and often you die three or four times just walkign from one end of the room to another! I dread to think what getting the insane difficulty medal will be like!

| I was just about to come on here and say that I felt the game was well balanced and really fair, but then I got up to the frogs! ARRRRRRGH! I'm lost in a maze and the TV just came very close to having a remote smashed through it. Time for a change in game I think... |

| Sorry, just me going off again on how Magician Lord sucks (why do people like this game). I was going to respond to you, but meh... Guess I forgot... |

| Unless people actually wasted their money to get the home console version. And I'd rather play Ghouls 'N' Ghosts, a sadistically hard and fun game, or any other game that I actually enjoy, for the matter, over this... "game". |

| Haha, that game is infuriatingly addictive, every time I go on it for a moment it turns into hours, it seems to have the same Animal Crossing disease of 'just need to do one more thing then save' and I find it's two in the morning (such as now). Back on topic, what do people make of Baseball Stars 2? I'm not a huge baseball fan but can't get enough of this game. |

I never seemed to score any points so I might struggle to get any medals! As for Magician Lord, I agree that the first 2/3 levels are quite good fun and as that's probably as far as most people get that might lead people to like it, however trying to complete it you realise what an irritating coin guzzler it really is. It's only saved by the increasingly ridiculous sampled speech.

| Lakitu | No, but I was surprised & angry that the compilation didn't have the option to turn on arranged music for some of the games or even a color edit mode for the fighting games on it! off-topic: And I won't be surprised when Neo Geo games start being released on the VC again! |

What's "off topic" about that exactly, the future of the VC releases is clearly relevant to the topic.

| Apparently SNK has released Samurai Showdown Anthology as well as the King of Fighters Anthology, with more on the way. With all these compilation discs around $15 who cares about Neo Geo VC? ***Except wasn't there a Sonic game on Neo Geo?**

As for Neo Geo VC, I'm just hoping they release some that aren't on any collections, soon. There are a lot of good ones that I don't think will ever get released any other way.

Indeed it would be. The only time I've heard anything about that game is when they aired commercials for the Neo Geo pocket, and all the "great games" it had. But since SNK loves to release compilations, maybe we'll see it sooner than we think?

| Iggy Koopa | We can only hope...and we can only hope that Sega will rerelease the Sonic Pocket Adventures somehow, because chances are they won't let SNK release it on their collection.

| I don't think Playmore could, I suspect Aruze holds the rights to most of the games. If there was a portable VC we could see Fatal Fury: First Contact, KoF R1/2, the two Samurai Shodown games and maybe the SNK vs Capcom games. But again, Aruze probably hold the NGP name so even that seems unlikely. |

| The Neo Geo Pocket doesn't have THAT many good games to make up such a collection. I own one and its hard to find more than ten.

| Ten games on a collection is good enough. Hell, add five more for filler and I"ll buy it. No questions asked so long as I can get the Sonic game.

| Honestly, I'm not that interested in disc based compilations and I'll happily buy Neo-Geo VC releases. I hope there are more. Usually there are just a couple of games on each disc that want, so for about the same price I can avoid the hassle of swapping and storing discs and get only the games I like to play right on the SD card menu. This appeals to me a lot, and if it costs an extra $10 I don't care. I have a toddler running around! So more Neo Geo VC games plz! |

| Remembering I had a great deal of store credit at the local Gamestop, I immediately picked up this title after work...as well as 2000 Wii points (which went toward Super Star Wars, Bonk, and Bonk2) All I can say is SNK never ceases to amaze me. I picked up the Metal Slug Anthology back around launch and this collection is just as amazing. If you have any interest in Neo Geo whatsoever, don't waste time, money, and space with VC releases, because for the price this disc is truly a gem. I just finished playing Super Sidekicks 3 for about the third hour (and I don't even like soccer!) simply because these games are so addicting. SNK has a way of taking the most mundane and adding some spice to it. Plus, I love the way all their characters look. Here's two open arms for volume 2! (I'm looking to get the King of Fighters Anthology and Samurai Showdown anthology if anyone has yet obtained those?)

| I would still argue that SNK Arcade Classics is worth the price just to get a good home version of Shock Troopers. I love that game! I have The King of Fighters Collection (Wii version), as well. It's pretty good, but KOF94 has a couple of odd graphical glitches that aren't present in the Arcade Classics version. Also, the control in KOF96 is very stiff to the point that it's difficult to do special moves (unless you use the analog stick). I don't know if it was that way in the original arcade version or not. The other games, 95, 97 and 98, all seem to be fine, tho. Being that 97 is my personal favorite, I'm satisfied. |

Super Sidekicks is fantastic. It's nothing like a real game of football but again that quirky SNK humour keeps it fresh and exciting. Its the only game on the collection I couldn't stop playing till I had every medal.

| I like this collection. Mainly for Last Resort, I barely found out that it had it and I bought it right away. I would prefer them being on VC so they could have a separate channel. But this collection is cheap and worth it. Would have been nice if they let you dl the ones on VC that are on the collection |

It really is about time Nintendo began implementing an achievment/medal system of its own. So its not an original idea, so what? Its fun and adds to replayability. They could even take a REALLY original standpoint and actually reward people for their gamerscore with Wiipoints. Now that would be fun.

I'd rather get the collections, too, since there are actually a lot of games on them that I'd want to play.
