What happened to all the comments?

Edit: to answer my own question: the old thread is here: http://www.vc-forums.com/last-ninja-3-review-t9776.html

No fix for the bug yet?

You'd think, since they were updating the review scores and everything, that they would have changed this one to a 1/10. Any mention of the bug in the review? Was it fixed?

I heard of no fix been released as of yet. I am now starting to think this won't get fixed.

This really is nothing short of a disgrace now. Why is it still available for download?

Because Nintendo wants our money. Even if it means we get the raw deal.

yes but there is something called consumer rights. If the product is defective then they must offer a refund surely.

Commodore has now assured us that it will be fixed very soon, so just hold on a bit longer

Well it does sound like the game is been fixed. I never heard of Nintendo giving out refunds for defective VC games though.

i downloaded this today and played it a couple of times. i don't really seem to be enjoying it all so far. simple action like picking things up seem to be impossible, and making accurate jumps in 2D isometrics isn't easy either.

this doesnt feel like a 9/10 at all...

Last Ninja's controls take some getting used to, but once you figure them out completely the games play like a charm. Just keep playing until it clicks

To pick things up you have to make the ninjas hand touch them. the jumps are a nightmare though and a hallmark of 80's gaming.
I didn't like it initially either but it does reward extended play.

The jumps are EASY if you know the pattern!
They seem to be hard as hell when you first come to the swamp or the river, but if you once remember the pattern you'll never have a problem again.

It's just up&jump, up&jump up&jump. Just be sure that you don't tilt in another direction by accident, or you'll lose that pattern and have to direct Armanuki carefully to the right spot again!

It is pritty difficult at times, especially the controls which take getting used to. Some bits I kinda hate (like jumping into a section to get to the boat in LN2. I suppose it's the retro charm but it does feel a bit too frustrating at times.

Not sure if I want this or the original Last Ninja after all, but I will see when I finish Last Ninja 2.

Has this game been fixed yet? If not its now gone beyond a joke and Nintendo needs to start refunding people.
