OLD Wii VS Xbox 360 VS PS3

The Wii is the more interesting system than the other two. The others are way too expensive and not worth it. Who had the nerve to pick PS3 on a Wii forum? How dare you!

But yeah, I picked it because it's the better investment as it can stand for a lot of years to come.
While I enjoy my Wii and prefer it over both the consoles the fact is the PS3 is more of a "built to last" machine while the 360 despite all the games at present playing the same on the "big two", in a few years down the line however the extras of the PS3 will seem like a Godsend to those who want a powerhouse of a console.

If the question was which one do I enjoy more then I'd say the Wii followed closely by the 360; but yeah, the PS3 is technically the better* I just hope for Sony's sake and for the sake of competition, the pitfalls of the 360 as a midway machine comes out sooner rather than later.


* Here's my logic:

Wii kicks ass because; it's fun, cheap, easy to adapt to, has some awesome features besides the control system, and as well as that it helps to re-establish genre's and games with a new lease of life.

Xbox 360 kicks ass because; it's the midway machine, only slightly more expensive than a Wii and runs in much higher resolution, with vastly more power under it's bonnet. It's online service is the far superior of the three and has the widest selection of software.

PS3 kicks ass because; it's a beast under the bonnet with more power than ever seen before in a console and even many PC's (Cell =<3), the potential for this console is much greater than that of it's rivals.
