I missed this game the first time round when it was on PS2, and I'm hoping to pick it up when it's released on Wii (next week, if I'm not mistaken).

Anybody play it or have much experience with it? I don't know a lot about it so any input at all would be great I've heard so much praise for it that I really want to play it on Wii, and it be great with the Wii controls. Reviews of the Wii version seem to be quite good as well.

Looks beautiful but I thought it had a boring combat system. Then again, I only got four hours into the game before getting tired of it...

Good Make sure you post your impressions; I'll probably wait a while before getting it with all the games I have at the moment.

I'm right there with you, Shortay. I missed this the first time, too, and I have some interest in giving it a spin. I think I'll wait till I'm done with some of the games I have now, though, to trade them in on it later. I'd also like to get around to Bully eventually.

But in the meantime, I'd love to hear more about what people think of Okami when they get their hands on it.

I got tired of it like Spore. It's very Zelda-like, normally that wouldn't be a bad thing but I had just played Twilight Princess and so many other games like it in the past that I just couldn't stick with another one. I knew it would be like Zelda but I was hoping that it would be more different than it was. I didn't get very far though so this is just based on the first few hours. It does look great and most people really like it, so I decided I would start it again in a couple of years when I haven't just played TP to see if I like it more then.

I just looked this game up, and wow, does it ever look good. I guess I'll add this to my list of badly wanted games for wii. I dunno why but I love the wii box art for the game.

Also the wii controls look very promising.

It's not out 'til Tuesday 15th in both NA and EU. I thought it was out already though. Somebody buy it on Tueday!
