No Rock Band For Wii? (NintendoLife)
For the time being, it would appear not EA’s Rock Band has been thrilling music loving gamers on the PS3, PS2 and 360, but EA doesn’t seem too keen on bringing the game to the Wii – at least not yet, anyway. Back in April 2007, Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos got everyone’s hopes up with a series of comments that seemed to indicate Rock Band was Wii-bound. He said in one interview:
However, EA’s Bryce Baer recently confirmed that no plans existed for a Wii version of the game at the present moment in time. Hopefully that means we may see it on Nintendo’s machine at some point (sooner rather than later would be preferable) but for the time being prospective rock stars will have to make do with Guitar Hero III or bite the bullet and invest in one of the machines that is currently lucky enough to showcase Rock Band.
