Default Clayfighter 63 1/3 is ESRB rated and coming to the VC

According to Wikipedia and the ESRB website, Clayfighter 63 1/3 is coming to the Wii's Virtual Console in at least North America.

Noooooooo. With so many great N64 games still waiting to be released on the VC this is a real punch in the clay...as for fighters on the N64 I'd much rather see Fighter's Destiny coming.

With no N64 games for Japan this month, this could easily be our next game. o.o

Still, on the brightside it means more 3rd Party stuff. On the downer side, WHERES EARTHWORM JIM?!? T.T

It would actually even be the first N64 game on VC that hadn't originally been published by Nintendo.

I might buy it just because it has to do with pieces of clay fighting each other. Since I make amateur claymations, this might be a bit of fun for at least 20 minutes.

Clayfighter 63 1/3 and Clayfighter Extreme
Interplay Prods
PlayStation/PS one, Wii

PS one...? That doesn't make too much sense. Looks like it could be a compilation disc or a piece of WiiWare.

I still think VC is more likely, though, especially since ESRB's site is notorious for vague system listings. The whole PS1/Wii thing could just mean PSN/VC.

My cousin has that game. I thought it was ok. Probably won't be downloading it.

I loved that game, but I don't see how it would work with the classic controller. It's a light, medium, and heavy attack system that utilized the C-Buttons. How will that work on even the GC controllers?

A little weak, I mean the system's library is still nearly untapped and they choose....Clayfighter? It was fun back in the day, I was guilty of repeat renting, but...well, I won't go listing the obvious (cough) Majora's Mask (cough) Pilotwings

Well that's good. Here's hoping that Clayfighter: Sculpture's Cut also comes on the VC soon.

The same way any other N64 game works - translate the 4 C-buttons to the 4 directions on the C-stick.

Though why they'd bother with this game is beyond me. I know the machine had a dearth of decent beat-em-ups (though not as bad the Cube) but even so...
