I remember playing the Arcade version before, good stuff. The NES version looks a lot different though, so I might get both versions.

Me too. I love that game. I used to be able to beat it without dying. I would download it for nostalgia purposes for sure.

I'd probably download the arcade one too just out of curiosity as far as what is different about it...

Edit: I should note the NES version isn't all that hard to beat once you know what to do...just saying I played it many, many times.

i think they should put rygar on vc arcade instead of nes because i just like the arcade version more

i looked up rygar on google and got this.

The game was ported to the Sharp X68000, Commodore 64, Sega Master System (Japan only; as Argos No Jūjiken), Spectrum 48K, Amstrad 6128 and the Atari Lynx. It was also included in a compilation of game called Tecmo Classic Arcade for the Xbox. The arcade version is also being re-released on the Wii Virtual Console.

i wonder if the last sentence is true.

I believe it has either been announced or is maybe already released for the Virtual Console in Japan. Not sure though.

I think I might've mentioned these earlier, but I want to see Crystalis, Blaster Master, and Devil World on VC. I've played them all on an emulator, and they are awesome!

Devil World is on VC in Europe and Japan. It's a Nintendo-brand Pac-Man-style game. You may be thinking of Devil's Crush, which is a pinball game on the NA VC.

The NES Battletoads is no more likely to show up than the Genesis verson since the creators of Battletoads, Rare, are now owned by Microsoft.

Yeah, and they'd better make good use of it - Battletoad's one of the few games from the old Rare I actually liked. I hope they make a remake and/or sequel eventually.

Same, plus anything made by Irem or Compile, like Gun*Nac or Metal Storm. And Faxanadu, although after getting a good look at it, I'm not as crazy about it as I was before.

For BurgerTime or Popeye, I would take either/or. Not for Ikari Warriors though. Like Rygar. I know they already have it for Virtual Arcade, I just prefer the NES version for it.
