Not that big of a loss, really. I doubt anyone around here even knows of the game. I have the ROM myself.
Have you downloaded any of the import games? Only Sin & Punishment was translated and that was just the menus.

OH! I didn't know that. I had read before about translation costs and thought....well, I've learned something new today.

Yeah, the game I mentioned wouldn't be released then, as it is very text heavy.

To be precise, 4,5, and 6.

BTW, do you want 7 as well? I personnally just want the Mega Man X games, myself.

Odds are they'll put 7 on, as well as 64 at some stage, but I reckon the X games would take priority.

We won't get 8 until there's Saturn Support, which is a shame, because that means there's only one Mega Man Classic game missing from the Wii.

Well, after the other 4 classic Mega Mans make it on the VC.

Is Legends on PSN? If not, I doubt we'll get 64.

And I like Mega Man X more than any of these game; it saddens me Capcom does not think the same.

No, they Ported both of the Mega Man Legend games on the PSP in Japan. There's still hope for Mega Man 64, it's just that we'll probably have to wait until all of the other Mega Man games have been released first.

I don't give a **** about Mega Man 64 (no offense to you, only the game ), all I want is Mega Man X.

Although the older Mega Man games would be pretty cool. And Mega Man 7 too.

MM4 through MM7 are almost guaranteed, after which we might get X1-3, and we might get 64, but who knows?

I'm doubtful we'll get 64 until the Wii's successor, or until we actually get a 3rd party N64 game anyway.
I'm pretty sure that if we get X, we'll get X2 and X3 after it though, and X4 again depends on Saturn support.

X2 and X3 used a special chip that is supposedly VEEEEEEEEEEEERY hard to emulate; I want 'em, doubt I'll get 'em.

Straight from Wikipedia:
"The Cx4 chip has been accurately emulated in several popular SNES emulators, such as ZSNES and Snes9x, allowing both games to be fully compatible with those emulators given that the user has their ROM images."

Then again, the PC is stronger than the Wii, so maybe we'll have to wait a bit, but we'll get them eventually, again, maybe for the Wii's successor.

The Wii can't emulate most SNES chips.

Anyways, I just want the first one. Come on, Capcom, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

I prefer to be skepical instead of hoping for something to happen that may not. In this case, the fact that the Wii can/cannot emulate SNES chips.

If it can though, I don't really want the SNES Star Fox, myself. But I can deal with some Yoshi's Island, now that's a great game!

Oh well, they sucked anyways. So long as Mega Man X1 makes it to the VC, we'll be fine.

Yes, I didn't like them. They weren't as terrible as Mega Man 4, or Mega Man X6, but they were still pretty bad.

Shadow of the Ninja / Blue Shadow as it was called in my native europe.

i can't believe ninja was considered such a violent term when i was a kid! they were renaming everything! teenage mutant hero turtles just sounded gay, everyone wants ninjas dammit! and the worst thing about it was that every kid i knew was doing a martial arts anyway, so it's not like all the renaming even worked

I would die to see these NES titles come out for the VC. They have already granted my dreams with Castlevania III:

8 Eye's. A good co-op title, albeit can be hard at times. TAXANTAXAN! =D

Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers. Possibility of this is very dim, but anyone can agree what a great game this was for the NES. Especially with two players.

The Guardian Legend. Great music and great gameplay.

Of course having Déjà Vu, Shadowgate, or The Uninvited would make my year. =D

The games were emulated on the GCN Mega Man X Collection. If the GCN could successfully get the games up and running I find it hard to believe that the Wii would have any issue.

Didn't the emulation have problems? Besides, Capcom did the compilation, and I don't think the special chip works with the emulator used for the VC. Besides, even if it did, they still have to tweak it to make it an identical SNES experience, which is what Nintendo is pushing to do.

Some games I'd like to see from the NES.

Contra
Wizards and Warriors (I think that was the name, the sequal was IronSword which stank)
Bionic Commando
Battle for Olympus

That's about it for a quick brainstorm.

Don't forget Mother! You've probably never heard of it, but you subconciously want it. BTW, have you heard of Blaster Master?

Blaster Master, now that one I do remember. I remember it being a bit frusterating at one point. Seems like I couldn't progress any further for some reason or another.

We need the Dragon Warrior series as well.

Awesome, I have Battle of Olympus, which is one of the greatest games ever on the NES, and I have Wizards and Warriors 3, which I actually bought only like 3 years ago or something.

The one game I still want in my collection is Faxanadu, though I have a nagging feeling that I already have it... Haven't touched my NES box of stuff in a while, since my NES doesn't really seem to work on my tv anymore... So it might even be in there. Perhaps I need to dig it up sometime.

There's this really awesome second hand game store in Amsterdam, where a lot of NES games can be purchased, and they're not even that expensive.
