That's all I can think of for now
I second all these recomendations. The Final Fight sequels are games that go for quite a lot of money on ebay as does Soul Blazer (the only one of the trilogy I havn't played). Lost Vikings is also a game I'd love to get but I may end up just buying the cart as its less expensive than the others. I bet we irritatingly end up getting the inferior (doubly so for PAL gamers) megadrive version though, as has been the case with other titles.

The bottom line is that I'd like to see virtual console supporting rare and expensive to buy games than titles where you can often buy the cart cheaper. Having said that SNES games seem to be holding their value well on ebay in comparison to N64 games.

The Genesis version of The Lost Vikings has an extra stage. Good for us NA gamers who don't have to worry about the shoddy conversions they toss you guys.

Because (like so many other games) it was censored for the SNES release. Now we have VC Arcade I'd much prefer the arcade version.

Now that Lucas Arts is onboard I'd love to see the hideously expensive Metal Warriors appear on VC but I wonder if they even know what it is:

Plok
Plok! is desfinately a game I'd prefer to get on VC rather than SNES as the lack of a save function really makes beating it hard on the SNES cart. The VC's auto-suspend would really come in handy here.

I never knew. I plan on getting this, since I really liked the gameplay videos on youtube. Great use of the SNES sound chip too.

Yeah, I've only ever played it on zsnes but it was very fun and colourful and I'd consider getting the SNES cart but would prefer VC for the latter reason:

There are two good Plok! sites one of which is the creator's own:

http://www.zee-3.com/pickfordbros/archive/plok.php

They also worked on the rather lovely Soltice 2: Equinox which is a game I do own.

Quite a good site indeed. I never knew the charactor design for him was very simular to Rayman. Nor did I realise how underrated this game is.

You have hit the nail firmly on the head. That would be every penny well spent. Start with Plok and Sunset Riders

up-to-date list:
the ones i'd really play alot first:

- Tiny Toon Adventures Cartoon Workshop *12*
- mystic quest *2*
- illusion of gaia/time *7*
- TMNTurtles : turtles in time *11*
- lufia II *5*
- theme park *10*
- zool *8*
- seiken densetsu 3 (secret of mana 2) *3*
- robotrek *1*
- chrono trigger *4*
- inindo: way of the ninja *9*
- secret of evermore *6*

the ones i never seen/played, but looks good:
- breath of fire (never played first one, but looks as nice as BoF II)
- Terranigma (looks nice, but dont know, yea, rpgfan eh )
- E.V.O: search for eden (never played, but looks cool)
- Ranma ½: Hidden Treasure of the Crimson Cats (Ranma ½: Akaneko-dan teki Hihou) (dunno much about this, but have seen some video)
- earthbound

others i'd like to see and play on VC, but maybe not play as much as the 1st list:
- chuck rock
- cool spot (never knew it was on snes, lol, played on amiga)
- joe & mac
- james pond II (jap) / james pond (US) (Pond, not Bond )
- plok
- desert strike

copied most from my old list, but sorted now, my 1st list is most important
even set numbers in what order i like em

ps. snes has most good games, more than the other consoles on VC... IMO
and i dunno how many are possible or not, this is just what i like

I didn't realize the was a Nintendo DS version. I only thought there was a sequel and that mini-game collection.

Here is the GBA version: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Can't find anything about a port to the DS.
