| I guess so. We ve been spoilt with the NES sport games no one really cares about, so I say we re due for some SNES sporty goodness (And N64 Sporty goodness with Mario Tennis! =D) |

| Boo Diddly | I love Super Tennis, I've got it on SNES but it's just a shame none of my friends are into it because I'm only bothered about the multiplayer mode. As for Super Soccer, I picked a copy up on eBay and I thought it was a bit weak. To be fair, I didn't play it much but I don't think it can compare to ISS Deluxe which is probably the best football game ever. |

| SNES Sensi was nice enough (and certainly more accessible to those of us not really bothered about footie), and I always preferred smash tennis to super. I'd also like to see NBA Jam too... |

| Have both of these games and loved them as a kid so I am looking forward to VC releases of them since I can't be bothered pulling out my SNES

My freinds and I were so good at this game as teenagers that we had to invent a whole series of complex rules about which types of goals were "legal", cheap rebound goals which also plague this title were also a problem and also banned as was player 1 touching the pad in the build up to a penalty kick being struck in a penalty shootout as this seemed to us to cause player 2 to miss. Actual fights used to break out about many of these issues...having said all of that though the game is by far and away the best Footy game on the home 16 bit consoles...pioneering realistic individual player models over the KKK stylings of Fifa Soccer and its all white all blonde world of Nazi supermen. If you fancy a similar experience on Wii then I more than recommend the game Super Sidekicks 3 that appears on the SNK collection disk.

Back to the flaws: Even Fifa games had those glitches which where mostly goaly errors and those where the games that werent based on arcade fun, but making a real time soccer emulation. This continues even on the day of today with the 2010 games, only the flaws are less transparant plus more difficult to see and do. ISS was the king of soccer (even on N64 where I only bought Fifa 98 on and playing ISS 98 at friends, how dumb could I be) before PES came, I liked the PES games till part 5 or 6 I remember. I nowadays only play the newer versions for fun at friends and not too hardcore anymore. The games are ok, but they are just not as fun as the soccer games in the old days, Tactics are good but it musnt become too much chess. But I also think that thats the difference between the old and modern day soccer, sometimes you need to Kick and Rush baby !

ISS meanwhile might have brought a lot of unique things to the table that ultimately helped transform footy titles into the ultra realistic simulations we see today but there's no denying it definately has arcadey elements to it and is far from a pure simulation...but then no 2D games back then really were, even the likes of kick-off.

SNES borders were never as bad as these two N64 monstrosities. There will be borders and slower gameplay however.

| This makes me sad as BAM is an N64 game I always planned to seek out. Won't bother if what you say is true. I have to say I'm surprised as beyond the first generation of N64 titles there was rarely such a problem.

| In my country, soccer is by far the favorite national sport. I also really like the sport. My favorite SNES Soccer game is Capcom´s Soccer Shootout However, Konami´s International SuperStar Soccer Deluxe is a much more complete game
