If by emulation errors you mean minor dips in sound now and again while the game loads. Hardly earth shattering stuff and you've no guarantee the same wouldn't be present in a VC game.

There are 22 copies available on ebay right now and with the average price around £15 then you're paying the same as it would cost you for this and OOT combined on VC plus you're getting Master Quest Free as well as (importantly for PAL gamers) 60hz versions of Zelda 1 and 2 as well.

Like I say, its a totally unecessary release at this point and I'm glad that, for once, Nintendo is favouring diversity over wringing every last coin out of the same old games.

Not to mention the benefit of having a game on disk instead of the increasingly cluttered Wii internal memory. I'm over the moon that PAL regions get World of Goo on disk. I'd gladly pay more for it that way.

The PAL version of The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition includes Master Quest?

Master Quest is from TWW Limited Edition, not Collector's Edition.

I know. The guy I was responding to implied that they were all on the same disc.

My mistake. But the rest of my point is valid. Four games all properly Pal optimized for around a tenner is far better value than 3000 points (£21) and you then don't have to worry about storage problems or the fact that the Nes VC games have ugly borders and run slower.

Aye, but I bet the collection goes up in value in the coming years. Afterall, it was a promotional release thing...

Hopefully soon. But I don't really need it since I have it on the Zelda: collecters edition. And what do you think of the idea of storing games on your Gamecube save things?

A better idea would be to allow you to store your Wii game saves on GC memory cards or some sort of Wii memory card. True some of them are only one block but something like Eledees has a block size of over 100 blocks.

I think that the lack of N64 releases is very much down to Nintendo's knowledge that the Wii's memory capacity is just hopelessly small.
It's going to be internesting when it begins to impact on Wiiware sales and people (and more worryingly develpers) give up and switch to the 360 instead.
If I had to download Mega Man 9 I know which format I'd choose and it wouldn't be the Wii version.

Its ludicrous I know. But then why does a Zelda save take 1 block and yet a C64 title (saving what exactly, the high score!?) takes 3?

Nintendo is a multibillion dollar transnational corporation. We are its customers. We can and should hassle Nintendo about this kind of thing. It's a better alternative than illegally pirating their products, for example.

True that! If enough people start to voice their opinions on matters such as this, we're bound to see some sort of change.

No, like decent PAL conversions for a start. Although, yes I would prefer Beetle Adventure Racing over MM given that the latter is easily obtainable for the Wii already via ebay.

Small theory, we havent seen any N64 Sequels to previous N64 games that are on the VC already (Well, Japan got Custom Robo V2, but they never saw the first one on VC). Makes me wonder if that's a factor...

Well Nintendo didn't make many sequels to games on the N64 for the N64, the only exceptions I can think of are Zelda and Pokemon Stadium.

Mario Party, but maybe you excluded because Hudson made them.
