Yeah. This is great!

He played SM64 from 1997 straight to 2007 without touching other games i suppose.

Tool assisted, but still...planning all that and setting the right route.
There's a proper run without tool-assist here:
SM64 on 00:19:47

Speedrunning is really cool.

It was 4 hours long but wow.

I've also watched a speedrun of MP2 Echoes in 2h 11min. Cruel thing!

I would like to make a speedrun thread for VC games.
But for the moment it fits in here.

SPOILER ALARM!

While I'm not into speed-running - I prefer to leisurely enjoy the game world - some of them can be rather impressive. Although, any tool-assisted run is underwhelming. Do it all by yourself or don't do it at all.

I think everyone should try out to do a speedrun sometime, a good starting game is of amuse any of the Metroid games since it was Super Metroid that really started the speedruns. I think that my record on Metroid Fusion is like 1:10 which I'm pretty proud of ^_^

I've seen the SM64 in 7 minutes thing before. At first, a thought it was not cheating... lol. I was proven wrong very fast.

Sooo, this is toll assisted, but only in the way of saving and loading in an emulator? The whole movie could also be done without the tools? All of those glitches are part of the normal game? In that case the speedruns definitely awesome.

@KeeperBvK : Yes, everything in this speedrun is possible.
I tried it myself, the backwards superfast stairjump through the doors. It works!
