Default Wii online Q's
ok im new tot his but i tried playing SSBB online and it didnt connect with anyone, is this actually a world wide connection? if not how can i get one? and if i want to download say for example DKC or SoM, and my friend also downloaded could the two of us play together online?

You need to get your in-game friend code in SSBB's online options, and give that to your friend. You'll also need to add your friend's code to your friend roster in the game's online settings. You can't connect to matches with random people.

No, unfortunately. Those games are straight ports of the original cartridges. No online built-into the original code, no online now.
