Whereas Smash Melee includes everything from Smash 64 except 2 or 3 levels and the Board The Platforms game. Ok, I'll admit Saffron City, Peach's Castle and the Platforms game were great and I missed them from Melee, but I don't fancy spending 1,000 Wii Points to play them again. | |

| So, Pokemon makes its debut on the VC, with an added feature. Interesting. =D |
| | |
| | #128 |
| Lakitu | Added feature or no, Pokemon Snap is a waste of a monthly N64 slot if you ask me. I admit, I bought the game. I'll also admit that it was fun. But after you beat everything, it just got boring after a week or two. Sure, you could go back and challenge your high scores, but the repetition just got boring, and it was also very difficult to beat those scores once you got them high enough. There's no "Oh, just a few more enemies" score logic like in 2-D top-down shooters, as there is generally very little to see in each stage in Snap, secrets included.

| Lemmy Koopa | After 2 months of no n64 game this is what nintendo gives us. Quite understandable Theres a lot of pokemon fans so I guess Nintendo thinks this is big. Although I'm not part of those fans and people say this isn't a great pokemon. I just hope Nintendo releases something for everyone this christmas.

| I could never really get into the Pokémon RPG's but I always followed the series with the spin-offs and Pokémon Snap was the best. It was very addicting to find all the Pokémon. You had to throw apples or smoke bombs to lure them out or get them attracted. You had a flute with 3 different melodies, you even could get enhancements for your Zero-One. You could find different routes. And there was so much replay value because you always wanted every creature, and better pictures and higher scores. And the presentation of this game was flawless. I even got two games of it, so my girlfriend could play her own game. Pokémon Snap is the best Pokémon spinoff ever - it's unique, addicting and totally worth 1000 points - and don't be afraid of the Pokémon franchise. Real pro's from HAL Laboratories made this game! It's an awesome Photo-Safari game! 5 Stars Last edited by SKTTR; 1st December 2007 at 07:45 PM. |

| Lemmy Koopa | Is that all you do wait for n64 games when there's so many other great non-n64 games out there. I used to just wait for n64 games, but then I saw so many other great games out there. I have 12 downloads and only 2 of those games I've played before. Because before you look at the vc releases and think there crap just because It's not n64 or you've never herd of it, do some research and see if it really is crap. Of course I could have got you wrong, but I'm just saying n64 games are not everything

| Guess Ninty are worried that releasing too many would over shadow the other console games and fill up our Wii memory too.... |

| You do realize a HDD is not going to solve the problems that most users are referring? The main problem is not allowing us to load the games directly from the SD cards, and that would fix things. I honestly don't mind having a little amount of VC games otherwise the menu would be cluttered. |

| Lemmy Koopa | One more page of games couldn't hurt but I would still like more memory incase Nintendo does a music channel or some differn't upgrade, and when wii ware comes each game could be 500 blocks so we don't really need more pages of games just more memory to fill those pages. And Mixer sorry for judeing you wrong, but 9 games is kinda small I would exspect 12 games by now. (one game per month) and It sounds like for christmas all were getting is pokemon snap. Of course I'm getting along good with other games but a few n64 games couldn't hurt.

| They ll need one when they roll the Wiiware games out for sure, unless they intend us to store those games on SD cards (They have mentioned they re inforcing a 40MB limit and a 1 game a month per company approach). Hell, give us an SD Channel to play stuff off SD Cards... T.T |

| My Top 5 picks: 1080° Snowboarding (Nintendo) - because it fits for the winter. Aerofighters Assault (Paradigm) - my personal choice - I know others don't agree. Yeah, it's hard dogfight action - not everyones cup of tea. And it's rated for quite some time. Beetle Adventure Racing (Paradigm) - The N64 had so many good racers and they could always put one of them in. Pilotwings 64 (Paradigm) - It was the first N64 game next to Super Mario 64. Should come early. Excite Bike 64 (Nintendo) - See Beetle Adventure Racing And for a good surprise: Mischief Makers (Treasure/Enix) - The best game made by Treasure. Very underrated because it was one of the few 2D games on the N64 and everyone was in a 3D craze at the time. All in all it has some of the best 2D graphics, animations and effects ever. Better than anything seen on the Neo Geo. It's also the first game I would get again, just to have it on Wii. Tetrisphere (Nintendo/H20) - Get it because a frantic puzzl games can't get any better and stylisher. Blast Corps (Rare) - Yo! Love this underrated gem! You know what? Forget GoldenEye, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo, blabla... Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini are the best Rare-N64 games. Last edited by SKTTR; 21st December 2007 at 10:03 PM. |
