| Hydro Thunder? Ew, really? Not my bag but if must be a Midway racing game you are looking for I'd prefer the San Francisco Rush series. Just this readers humble opinion however.

| Rabid VC Fanboy | I think after S&P and Yoshi's Story the next N64 game will be Excitebike 64. |

| No, Excitebike 64 is not good racer. You know the N64 is famous for it's stunning racing games? It's one of the best motorbike racing games ever made! It's realistic and smooth, it has 20 detailed indoor and outdoor tracks and fine hi-res graphics. it's got cool physics and great controls. There is stunt mode, random desert race, addicting uphill mode, original excitebike, 3D excitebike, soccer mode, 4 player mode and a level editor! Yes, it's an intense game, just like Excte Truck, but bigger. A great package! And it is graphically the best racing game on N64 due to it's release late in the N64's lifespan. Gets 5/5 Stars! |

| The only equal thing between Cruisn' USA and Excitebike 64 is that both are racing games. But Cruisn' USA is really old. I mean, it came out on ULTRA 64 arcade platform in 1995 and it was a good racer. It was ported to N64 three years later. Too late to shock N64 fans in 1998 because we already played much better racing games in 1997 on our N64 (saying Mario Kart 64, Wave Race 64, Diddy Kong Racing, San Francisco Rush, Top Gear Rally, Multi Racing Championship). All were better than Cruisn' USA. It just missed the starting gun when it arrived in Spring '98. Don't want to talk Cruisn' bad, it was a decent game when it arrived and there were worse racers out: Automobili Lamborghini and F1 Pole Position 64. But anyway, somehow it got cult status. It was easy, bad fun arcade racing. Note: Next to Killer Instinct this was the first N64 game ever announced. You wouldn't dare to compare an arcade port from 1995 to an excellent bike racing game from 2001. There are generations and evolutions between Cruisn' USA and Excitebike 64. | I never did like Exitebike 64. I thought of it as a cheap rip-off of Supercross, this cool dirtbike game I had.

| So mysteriously, no N64 game for Japan in November. Me wonders, will everywhere else still get one for November? Maybe its the America Only Dr Mario 64 (True, China got it on the IQUE and Japan got it on the GC Puzzle Collection, but only America got it on the 64...) Or maybe Ninty will treat us to 2 games this Xmas? =D |

| 1080 would be spectacular, I downloaded MK64 & Fzero64, all I need now for blissfulness would be 1080. If I didn't enjoy boarding down the slopes, then the intro music kept my baby daughter quiet (she had a real high pitched squeal of a cry (It was normal), and the intro music was some kind of heavy rock, but when nothing else worked, 1080 saved the day.). However I suspect beetle adventure racing will be next, which I haven't tried yet.

| Let's just hope the next N64 game isn't 'Beetle Adventure Racing' or 'Aerofighters Assault'. |

Never played Aerofighter, but Beetle Adventure was a decent racer. Not bad, but there are far better racer titles already out on the VC. | |

| Beetle Adventure Racing is good. But I already have it. Aerofighters Assault is like Lylat Wars, just in a more realistic setting. And harder. And worse graphics and sound. But I'm getting this anyway because it was 160DM (80€) at the time and I couldn't afford it. If you liked Lylat Wars and found it to easy, Aerofighters Assault is good and challenging dogfight action. I also liked the classic Aerofighters / Sonic Wings shmups in the Arcades and I think there were ports on SNES and Neo Geo. |

| Is there really any point in releasing Super Smash Bros? The Gamecube version does everything the N64 one does, and more. The only benefit to the VC is being able to play with the Classic controller if you can't get hold of the GC version and 4 controllers... |

| The N64 Smash Bros. had cool levels and music I missed in the GC version. And it has the great "Land-on-all-platforms" bonus stages that were completely scrapped from Melee. I hope they re-introduce it in Brawl and give us more classic stages (the old Pokémon Saffron City, Hyrules Castle and the SMB1 stage). |

| Well, I for one think it's a blast playing through to get all characters, stages, and other unlockables, and another smash game would be great to tide me over until Brawl is released. |
