I actually missed out on this back in the day, but I loved the hell out of Melee.

Come on Nintendo, you can at least give us the N64 one to stop us moaning about Brawl for a bit can't you?

Was a good game, yes Maybe a little vanilla compared to Melee or (From what it looks like anyway!) Brawl, but my brothers and I played it a fair bit back in the day.

I don't think I'd get it again though, if only because Brawl is on the same system, and I only play it these days for a bit of fun/nostalgia.

It was a dream come true back in the days, but I guess if you've never played it before Melee, you won't really be able to enjoy it. Melee has just improved to much on it.

Yeah, I tried SSB at a friends house and it just felt like Melee slowed down with 50% :P
The attacks wasn't just the same either, Melee is a better game

Though I really hope that SSBB will be a great game. The ability to use the GameCube controller (or any other of them) is really nice and so far I haven't seen any tilting or shaking the Wiimote either so I guess it's like Melee when it comes to the controller.

Yeh Super Smash Bros. was one of my favourite in the days of the N64, but I havn't heard anyfing about it yet.... not a good sign I suppose. Melee was also great but it didn't keep me going as much as the original, so maybe one of the 2 is enough, obviously this isn't taking into account Brawl.

I don't know about that. I hope so, but that's not looking too promising.

Melee is just perfect in every way. The original Super Smash Bros. was good, but Melee trumped it in every way, leaving it obsolete.

Yeah unlocking characters in the original was tough.

I'll probably buy it just so I can own every smash game.

I'm guessing it'll come out around the time that Brawl comes out.

Yeah I played meele then I played smash bros. but I thought meele was such an improvment. Smash bros. only has 12 characters and meele has what like 40. And meele has a lot more stages. And I thought it was hard to control. So if your going from melee to smash I don't think you'll like it. Still I might get it, because I lost melee, but I might just wait for bwral. Comeing December 2, 2007!
