| That's an interesting question, and a broad Google search for "socketed processor" only yields the same question you asked on another forum. Are you trying to remove one from an N64 or something? I guess your best bet is simply to open one up and see as I don't think that specific of information is available. My guess is that it is soldered in. You could also try a Google search for the internals of the N64 in images and just take a look yourself.
