Three times, possibly four. I may play it again later this year, after I finish Majora's Mask a second time.

I usually replay OoT every year or two, so I've played through it at least a half dozen times.

I know I have several times on both the original cart and also on the Master Quest bonus disk version. I like the Master Quest version because the new puzzles throw off what I remember. Keeps me on my toes.

Just the one time all the way through, and then I fiddled around with gameshark codes after that. Navi is telling me to go see the Great Deku Tree while I'm on my way to Ganon's castle. Hah!

It's a good thing no one asked you then, because MM is amazing

As for OoT, I've beaten it three and a half times. Three times on the cart, and I started a new game when I got the Zelda Collector disk, but I never beat it.

Yeah i would think about 6 times or so. I've just left Kokiri Forest on my new game. I should try the master quest for a change from the norm, but is it very different from the original?

Twice, once on the N64, once on the Wind Waker bonus disc. Although I have beaten Ganon multiple times so I could watch the ending again and again.

My sister and I beaten Ocarina of Time twice so far on the regular N64 cartridge. The first time just to beat the game, and the second time just for giggles because we love messing around with Ganondork.

Then we go back to a previous save with us fighting Phantom Ganon because we just love that battle because it reminds us of a boss battle in Kendo Rage for the SNES.

And Majora's Mask is love.

This is the last Zelda game (besides Wind Waker) that I was truly impressed with. It's difficulty and story were simply amazing. Wind Waker went the other way, kept the story and difficulty, but made it brighter and more cartoony. Every other Zelda game post OOT has been a huge let down.

0 so far. I always get sick of it by the time I reach the Shadow Dungeon.

Once was enough for me. Too much dungeon crawling.

My sister and I have finished Ocarina only once, the dungeon crawling was really tedious for me. Not to mention it took my sister forever to get through the Water Temple since it creeped her out. [She hates water stages. ]

0... I doubt I'll ever care to beat it, since the game isn't very fun.

Sensei's thoughts reflect my own. Actually, in response to the folks saying "only 1 OMG how dare I!", I was just about to say "why would you want to beat it any more times than that when there are other games to play?" I'm sure I'll beat it in due time (maybe for Octorok 2009), but I really doubt I'll beat it again after that.

I would think the reason most people beat long games like OOT multiple times is because they don't have access to new games. Perhaps they're young and don't have the money for new games. I know when the SNES first came out I beat Super Mario world over and over on new saves fro pretty much that reason. Even though it remains a great game I wouldn't bother doing that now.
Nowerdays I struggle to finish any game because I can afford to get new ones so often but also because adults, sometimes unfortunately, have too many other things to be doing.
I know as a teenager I'd have totally done another run through fallout 3 taking the evil route but I know that as a busy adult with more games than I can handle I'll be happy to have just beaten it once.

And you call yourself a fanatic.

Seriously though, I've played through the game so many times simply because I really enjoy and actually want to play over and over again. It only takes about eight hours for me to do a playthrough so beating it once a year hasn't really been that big a deal for me.

Maybe I should start a similar thread..."How many times have you beaten Starfox 64?"

I think I would say like 49ish? hahaha

Yeah, that's just it. I always get through to the Spirit Temple and get sidetracked either by a new game or something in real life, go a while without playing it, then start all over again. I've played through the first half of Ocarina hundreds of times, yet lack the time in the later half to actually finish it. The only Zelda game I have had that problem with.

Of all those people here, someone called LinkFanatic hasn't beaten Ocarina!!

@LinkFanatic: You really have the Triforce of Courage to tell us that!

@han: 8 hours is a pretty fair time. I could do the same, but I'm the 100% runner and will take a bit longer.

@Lapras: I have played Ocarina 8-10 times from intro to ending. 4 times with everything (20 heart containers and 100 skulltullas) - one of those perfect runs on the Master Quest.
