QUICK CHANGE
Description: During battle, lets you change your party members... and still use
the new member without losing a turn.
Badge Points: 4
Location: Toad Town
Directions: The fortuneteller in Toad Town will mention seeing something good
happen to someone running around a red palm in Dry Dry Outpost. If you go there
and run a few laps around the red palm, someone will tell you to stop because
you're making them dizzy. He'll also let slip that he heard if you Spin Jump
three times in a house with a spinning roof, you'll get something good. If you
go back to the Toad Town fortuneteller's place and Spin Jump three times, lo
and behold, this badge'll appear. If you're truly lazy, you CAN just skip to
the last part (spin jumping in the fortuneteller's) and still get the Badge. I
won't tell anyone.

one of the MOST annoying badge to get...but also one of the most useful, I kept this badge on at ALL times after getting it.

you people do know that the only way to hurt him is when the light is shineing on him? you have to hit the light a few times so it shines on him then hurt him. Or did I just not get what you were saying.

Yes, That's why for thaty fight, Bow was my best friend. Slap that thing a lot first, then have Mario do a powerful attack.

Sooo, change of plan.

Instead of getting Super Paper Mario, I've just bought The Thousand Year Door pre-owned for £28.
Seemed a bit expensive for 2nd hand but it's hard to get hold of now so I thought I might aswell just get it.
Once I complete TTYD, I'll then buy SPM.

Good idea, I've been trying for ages to get Paper Mario TTYD on ebay or anywhere in fact, but I just don't want to pay over £20 if it's second hand... And if it's anything like Paper Mario on the N64, It'l b great

I had a quick non-saving look into it yesterday, and it does seem very similar to the original. I just need to be hopeful it's as good!

IMO, it's not TOO long, mostly beacuse there's a lot of running back and forth but it isn't the shortest I've came across. I've just found the 5 yoshi kids myself in Chapter 5.

Kent C Koopa?

Actually, don't tell me, I want as much as possible to be a surprise
I know I ask nearly everytime, but will Chapter 5 take long? I'm on a 2 hour time limit. Saying that, I better get to it now!

I finished chapter 4 last night.
Now I have 2 power plus badges . I deffinetly need a lot more badge points to wear all these goodies .

Mendez, how is your character evolution right now? I have 30hp, 15fp, 21bp. I think I will raise my fp the next level-up.

always raise the badge points!! until theyre maxed out!! i think you can have 30.
with badge points you win three prizes at once.

1st. You can fill these points with badges that raise HP, makes leveling up HP unnecessary until later.
2nd. You can fill these points with badges that raise FP. makes leveling up FP unnecessary until later.
3rd. You can fill these points with every other badge when necessary.

anyway, to make this strategy work, you have to find these specific badges.
there are at least four of each (i think 2x +5 and 2x +10) so you can raise your maxHP+30 and maxFP+30 just with badge points.
dont know where to find them. thats your job. i beat it (100%) 6 years ago and cant think of everything anymore.

I have the exact same except I have 15 badge points...

(Though I am using 1 HP and 1 FP badge)

What level are you at? I've just finished Chapter 4 and I'm at level 11. I did train a couple of times though.

Oh sorry, I meant 9 points instead of 5! My bad. I'm not sure, haven't looked in a while, but I'd guess much the same as yours. Yeah I better train some time... My badge points are too low

Yeah, it is the same. You have 1 more upgrade of HP and FP than me, but I'm using 6/15 BP on badges to rise my HP and FP by 5 each, giving us the same amount.

Well I still haven't gotten around to playing paper mario, I'm still in bowser's castle. My HP 50 FP 45 ad BP 27 or 21 I can't remember. I love paper mario games, in TYD I have 70 HP and 70 FP and a lot of BP. In super paper mario I have 110 HP and I'm not gonna say the rest because I don't want to spoil things for you people who haven't played it.

Is this game conteder for best VC game so-far? I like RPGs a bit, but I don't just want a run-of-the-mill RPG game. Very tempting though.

I absolutely love a bunch of the VC games like Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and they hold a lot of nostalgia value for me, but Paper Mario is definitely a strong contender for the best VC game.
I never played it before it arrived on VC, and I must say I was very surprised at how good it really is! This should be the first game on any person's VC shopping list.

In my opinion it's the best VC game so far. Before the VC I had never played it before, but heard such good things about it when it was announced that I had to get it. My best VC download by a longshot

I killed him with sushie and this badge combination : ice power, fire shield, 2x power plus, defend plus, power bounce, happy hearth, ...

Just see that sushie's water block ability is always on and it will be a walk in the park

I'll hopefully complete chapter 5 tonight, I haven't played any since Thursday night.
The 5 Yoshi's have just gone missing, I think there's still a fair bit left so iI'll try to start earlier tonight.
