I like the Bowser world too, but only because of the tank and ship stages at the beginning.

Me too! My favorite moment of the whole game was stomping spinies and walking over nipper plants in that thing! It's a shame it was only ever used in one stage in the entire history of Mario games...

I don't really have a faverite, I am quite fond of Ice World, Dark World and Sky world. Ugh I really need to play this game again. 5 years after completing this game is too long.

whats wrong is firstly, why would you even reply to a thread about a game you have not played??

and at first you made it sound like you have actually played it. 'didnt really like any of the worlds in this game' YOU DIDNT PLAY THE GAME!!

so yeah, dont act all surprised when you get called out.

I for one sure hope that no game designer ever caters to your impatient style of judging games. If all of the best stuff is in the first level, then there'd be no sense of progression or difficulty curve. A good game should have a very easy and basic first stage, followed by progressively more complex stages.

When I was younger I liked the water world much (world 3), but if I have to choose now I would say world 6. I like snow .

World 4, "Big World" was the best. I hated World 6, Ice in Mario games is my big downfall.

Lmao.

I can't say this game is better than SMW, but I can sure agree that it's pretty even, which is one of the reasons I love New Super Mario Bros. Wii so much, as it reminds me of a perfect marriage between the two games. I would have to say my favorite world is between either Giant World (4) or Ice World (6). I always enjoyed ice levels in Mario, Donkey Kong, and Sonic games.

My favorite Koopaling however, would have to be Wendy. In my youth I feel in love with battling Wendy in SMW, and how she would fall out of the pipe and into the lava when you finally beat her. In SMB 3, I remember having the hardest time avoiding those damn rings, and feeling so accomplished when I finally put an end to her.

If its one thing I dont like in Mario games its sky worlds, they always look so boring and simply made. The only thing that makes them difficult is that you have to jump from tiny to tiny blocks sometimes, I would even rate the desert world above it. Still these are personal tastes ofcourse.

Probably BIG WORLD. Because everything's huuuuuge.

Woulda said the ice world because I always love snow levels, but it was way too much of a pain in the ass for me. Though I dont remember why exactly.

I think its because of the old Nes controls where kind of stiff when not taking care of well (that was my problem). I had that back then with worlds that where kind of slippery because you had to 'push back' sometimes. I didnt have much problems with it when playing with the wii mote though.

My favorite world is the fourth world because its different than the other ones and it's challenging. everything is big: giant land. It has the three big hammer bros.
