Default Nintendo Power VC poll

Nintendo Power has posted this email in their magazine for a poll to see what VC games their subscribers want most. They clearly state that it will not determine future VC releases, but they are part of Nintendo and if we can get enough people to say how much they'd love titles like Mario RPG and Goldeneye, maybe Nintendo will listen...

Anyway, here is the email, send up to five picks for only systems currently on VC: vcpoll@futureus.com

A vote for Goldeneye would be a wasted vote. There's just too many liecencing issues and such. Remember that.

I forgot to vote after reading it so this is a good reminder. I know exactly what I want to vote for.

A vote for Chou Genjin 2 is a vote for your future! The is the most important election of your lives!

Obama who? Mc Cain what???

Or Goldeneye, Banjo or any RARE title really. It'd sure be embarrassing for them to have the most wanted game be unavailible.

Good Square Games? Chrono Trigger? Super Mario RPG?

I'll do it, only because I want to see Harvest Moon 64, Mischief Makers and Castlevania III on there. And this is exactly what I've thought Nintendo itself should be doing, putting a monthly vote section on the Download Channel so we can make 'suggestions' of what they could put up.

Didn't know what I was suppose to say, so I just put this.

Hi, don't really know what to say, so I'll just list the 5 I'd most like to see.

1. Super Mario RPG (To hit the U.S and PAL regions)
2. Castlevania Dracula X: Rondo Of Blood (To hit the U.S and PAL regions).
3. Super Punch Out.
4.Duck Hunt (With Wii Remote Aiming)
5. Earthbound/Mother (To hit U.S and PAL regions)

Was this e-mail posted yesterday? On April 1st? April Fool's Day?

Anyway, Nintendo has nothing to do with the decision about Goldeneye (or probably Super Mario RPG, for that matter). No matter how many people vote for it (them), there's nothing they can do.

We should vote for games that have a realistic chance of coming out. Here are my picks:

Blaster Master
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse
Contra
Journey to Silius
Life Force

Other than the fact that it'd been rated. Hence why I voted for the games I voted for. 4 are Ninty titles. Only one hasn't been rated (Mother's out in Japan I believe).

That has nothing to do with Nintendo's power to release it. Maybe they had come to some sort of agreement when it was rated and they've since run into troubles again. Maybe it was rated pending an agreement. We don't have the facts.

If this NP e-mail thing is true, I'd probably suggest they speed up their release of Shining Force 2, release Warsong in NA (not US) and EU, maybe import a Fire Emblem title, and get us Shadowrun (SNES) and Faxanadu.
