|  Wii Is Now a Registered Trademark [Wii] Attention trademark buffs! "Wii" is now a registered trademark. Nintendo filed the trademark in 2006 but only got it registered by the U.S. Government on Tuesday. So now if you infringe, they can go after you with even more weight. More » Source: Kotaku
