Default Muramasa Returns With Colourful, Yet Tasteful Figure [Toys]

Muramasa Returns With Colourful, Yet Tasteful FigureWhile the game is (sadly) slipping from people's memory's, Muramasa's star Momohime doesn't seem to be, as evidenced by this delightful new figure.

We caught a glimpse of it at Wonder Festival, but the toy is gearing up for a retail release, meaning we now get to check out a range of detailed shots. It'll be released in July, and you should be able to get your hands on one for around USD$75.

Muramasa was released late last year on the Wii. It looked great, and played great.

Um...why would you want to pay $75 for a statue so you can put it on your desk/cabinet/trophy case/etc. and look at it? I mean, I don't know about you, but I'm just gonna look at the pictures they provided for free, and put my $75 towards something useful, like...um...food?(that's important, right?)

I'd have a hard time paying $8 for it, too. I'm just not much of a statuette/figurine collectin' kinda guy.

I have quite a few statuettes/figurines. Most are from horror movies but I have one Jill Valentine. I have to save money for I-NO and Miku figs though.

I have a Skull Kid Statue from Majora's mask but that's abot as far as I've gone into collecting videogame statues, I sure as hell wouldn't want that hideous Gold Link thing that the Euroshop is selling for like 8 billion stars.

I'm not much of a video game figurine collector. It feels weird and creepy to have a bunch of figures of people on my desk--let alone scantily clad women. Not that scantily clad men would make it any better.

I'm cool with the less human video game characters, though what keeps me from ordering a plastic toy of Slime or the Toki Tori character is the knowledge that they SHOULD be made out of the same material as rubber bouncy balls...

Yeah, I bought that Skull Kid statue for my sister for her Birthday/Christmas present. She was thrilled because this was one of her favorite Zelda characters of all time.

I don't collect figurines, but I do buy them sometimes and only buy characters I really like. Some of my stuff includes Nendoroids from iDOLM@STER and Vocaloid; Square Enix Play Arts figurines, namely Reno and YuRiPa; figma of Rin Kagamine; Kubricks from pop'n music; the Jack Bros. figurine from Shin Megami Tensei; and Mario Bros. figurines of Wario and Luigi to name a few.

You could just get one of those plushies.

PS Why does everyone like Skull Kid so much?

Because Skull Kid is a likeable character from 2 amazing games, and he looks weird, laughs funny and has a cool name.

I'm not into figurines, but I'd buy one too if I find one.

Oh, I have a slime plush. Super-cheap, very cute, and great to toss around. Looks great in a hat, too.

Splurged on a Goody Bag plush, too. The best thing about him is that you can hide stuff in his mouth! Like, you could stash $3 worth of pennies in there, I swear! He's awesome!

The only thing I have is a vault-tec bobble head. It came in the special edition that I bought new for less than the standard edition.

Wow I totally forgot to mention the literally-hundred or so Mario Bros. figures I have on display in my closet. So, yeah, it can get out of hand.

Plus it's nice to have something nerdy that references something cool that you like without being completely obvious to the casual passerby like that horrible Gold Link statue.
